Taken presented by Steven Spielberg....i was wondering it there were any clues about this movie in it....found this in wikipedia:

"The implants remained undiscovered until Shocked 1962 Shocked , when Russell Keys' head was x-rayed to determine the cause of his seizures. The doctors treating him initially believed it was a tumor, but his son Jesse, suspecting it might be related to the aliens, demanded he have the same x-ray, and a similar implant was discovered."

Not to mention Spielberg, Fanning sisters were involve in this Miniseries too...

Wonder if it has anything to do with this.....

It would seem unlikely IF ONLY that 'Taken' is another intellectual property created for the Sci-Fi Channel with Steven Spielberg only 'presenting' it through DreamWorks Television. By the way, Spielberg only Exec Produced one episode of 'Taken' — otherwise he had no direct involvement in its short lifespan on the air.

No doubt the rights to any story elements/characters belong to the series creator and not Spielberg... certainly not JJ at all. Agreed there's a great deal of cast overlapping, but then again Han Solo didn't appear in RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK either. Very Happy
