 		Events of April 30th
For the benefit of those who were not able to join #ctw and keep up with the happenings, and find the different postings difficult to follow, here is the Readers Digest version of what happened (from the rodent point of view). I apologize if I miss credits.

1. Various emails sent out from Dale informing us of a new password for his email.

2. Dales email from the guides

3. Sam's email gave us a phone number to call him in an emergancy (didn't seem to work, maybe it will work tomorrow) and said to email him with updates.

4. Phone call to Varin

I told him that it was either plot 84 or plot 87, that I couldn't remember which. I told him that I forgot my notes at home. He said that 84 sounded right and I told him that's what I thought it was too. He said that he might try to call someone else a little bit later on, to let us know how he is doing and if anything had happened. I told him that he should be careful and he told me not to worry, that he would be.

5. Email from initiatesseekers gave the "whites" a new puzzle.

6. We're confused. Benign Shakespeare? We anagram it, we google it, we wonder about Base9 or B9. We get frustrated so Kona sends an email to the initiatesseekers and gets a hint:

7. Noted by quite a few in chat that the capital letters coincide with the 9s in the original code. KyraB mentions the Bacon Code used capitals and lower case. Lazerus Long uses the Bacon Cipher, making 9 = b, and all other numbers = a. Ah hah!!!

8. Use cluesearch with "steganographia" to get the missing manuscript page: http://www.missingmanuscript.com/ (thanks to elderofzion, enaxor, Misha, and any others I may have missed).
The author is trithemius. So, now the new mythosphere page gives us instructions to get Dale back:

9. Phone calls to Sam did not work. Email has been sent to him with instructions to gather the needed wood and burn it "where love once lived" (spec - the foundation where Dale's home stood).

10. Sam is now aware and he & Wes will start looking for trees. Misha has forwarded to him information on these trees and where to find them in Aglaura. Here is Sam's email to me:

in Diana's Grove. I'm not sure how I'm going to pick them out 'cause I
know absolutely nothing about trees!

And now we wait until dusk on Thursday.

 		To be on the safe side, if anybody knows anything about trees they should email Sam on what each of the nine look like so he can distinguish them and choose correctly.

 		new email, I've been lurking here...time to share (hopefully I haven't screwed up and posted something not useful =\)

I got another call from Wes. As soon as I picked it up he said, "Shut  up and listen." And then it sounded a little muffled, like he dropped the phone in his pocket or something. It was cutting in and out and difficult to hear but I heard Wes' footsteps as he walked through the ruined house, I think. And then a deep voice  said, "Keeler". Wes sounded suprised and said, "You? It's you?" There was static and I thought I lost the call until I heard the deep  voice say again, "We must hurry. Someone has told them where we are and they are coming . . . their time." It was cutting in and out again so I was obviously missing some words. I heard Wes say, "You know I won't let . . . to him" and then the phone went  dead again. I'm not sure what to do. I'm thinking I should leave here and go out there.

I just heard from Wes on his cell phone. He was standing in the woods across the street from Dale's burned out house, waiting for something to
happen. He said he hadn't seen anyone there yet at that point. He also had just said that it was starting to get really dark and so he decided to walk over to Dale's home, and his cell cut out. I tried to call him right back, but can't get through. Damn! I'll let you when if I hear from him again.
