Well, perhaps it is one...
I tried to analyze it, but not really helpful results:

Vita's Relic?
Could Vita be an entity or organisation?

This hasn't been suggested yet: maybe it's Vita's Relic. Like, the Relic of Vita.
Vita has tons of pages in wikipedia . They're cities in Italy, Ukraine, India, Canada and Spain. None of them are related to the ARG though...

I too thought about using the VI as Roman Numerals as stugot said, but all I can come up with is IV Articles or VI Recitals (reverse as needed), can't fit it in anywhere though.
Any thoughts on the coincidence of the "life" idea being tied into the fact that the kids are making a movie about zombies?

That's a fairly broad or nebulous connection, conceptually. Hard to tell on such little information (so far), though. Can't rule anything out this early!
It might be easier to tie-in this mysterious energy source with the concept of 'reanimated corpses' (not far off from Romero's original NOTLD idea), though even that would seem to be a loose-if-wild connection since it's most likely the kids are already filming their zombie movie before this 'accident' happens, and the whats-it is unleashed with potential mystery energy/power. They couldn't have gotten the idea for their film from an event which hadn't occurred in their lives yet — and we can only presume they aren't filming their movie long AFTER the train wreck to continue their story.

OK, combining this with the blue-can clue...I've 'discovered' brylcreem' (blue can with a lion on it) and 'Vitalis'....maybe nothing, maybe something...in some of the sites that turned up in searches about 'Vitalis' it talks about "VIRAL marketing"...hmmm, sound familiar????? Both were hair care products that were popular during the 50/60s.
Maybe I'm going completely insane...no idea what the "REC" part of it would be....
I'm gonna go commit myself to FFSH now
EDIT: I'm a dolt...couldn't even spell in the search...I'm done...night (Sorry Chainsaw)
Don't worry about it. People make mistakes. No apology needed.

Well to be more specific I meant the connection in the producers minds. A contradiction between the zombies and a "life/energy/living relic" creature (I know we don't know for sure yet, just speculating). Hard to explain on here, I suppose a good example of contradictions in movies would be the Green Mile, with death row inmate healing people.

As far as the IV Articles goes (VITAS RELIC) remember the 2 newspaper articles that overlaid? Is it possible there are 2 more we haven't found yet?

Could these be a throw back to the 4 badges we found...? maybe we missed something and they were trying to lead us back in that direction.. maybe the trailer has the badges hidden somewhere and we need to find them?

Possibly, but at the rate players here have poured over frame-by-frame details of the trailer, it seem unlikely we missed any such 'big' clues in it by now.
I'm guessing they're still holding off on starting the game now until the 3/11 trailer debut. I find it unlikely that the PMs are playing/have designed the ARG so cleverly that no one here can decipher it to progress further in it. History seems to show that when past ARGs have "slowed down", it was on the game's part and not the player's ability to keep up with it.
This is a pretty smart bunch here at uF — present company (me!) excepted.
