There is a new one somewhat near DC - in close-in Maryland burbs (Silver Spring). Not that the DC crew is volunteering to get it or anything - that's out of the way for all of us active axon hunters.

PM's!

Hmmm... I wonder why the PM's aren't listening to us about failed/broken/evil phones that don't work. Please don't keep listing the 97237 -93.234078 in MN... doesn't accept calls anymore. Smile! Laughing

i wonder that too... here in knoxville we had one axon for two rounds. we tried every phone in the area, and we tried all the tricks to see if they were accepting the call and we couldn't find the correct one... so i did the research and updated the 8 nonexistant phones Shocked for the coordinate that were listed on payphone-directory. i've emailed all the in-game characters, and as in-game as i could make it sound, i notified them of the problem and the corrections. the reward was knoxville being removed from all subsequent lists since the third Confused ... the posts about there being a couple new axons gives me hope but it doesn't seem like they're listening to me. maybe i'm not high profile enough... i haven't solved any puzzles or made a heck of a lot of contributions to the forum, but one thing i COULD do is answer a phone... i certainly could do that. Very Happy

edit: Sorry... end of ranting... I think this thread should get back on the topic of discussing the Recipe4 axons. I didn't mean to get us off track.

FYI, I'll grab the Lemont IL axon again, as well as the new one at 41.802593, -087.927965. I'm heading up there today to scope the area.

Fargo axon is covered for 10/05

Myself and a random collection of others will take the <46.875805 -096.784945> Fargo node. Too bad we only got one entry; between the 4 of us our schedules allow to snag almost any timeslot, but maybe we'll get lucky and catch a live call this time. If anyone else lurking in the FM area is reading this, you're welcome to join us in the regal splendor of the greyhound bus depot.

I finally got my act together and updated http://www.inio.org/bees/futureaxons/

I didn't think it was possible, but it looks like there's even MORE on/around Market street in SF than last week.

This is driving me insane! Every single axon close to me is during SCHOOL!!! Oh unfair torture that grips my soul, why do you mock me so in Melissa's haunting tones? Would that there was one phone that I could answer so that I might hear my fair Queen's tones at last!

Yeah, I'm distressed Razz Maybe she'll make live calls again next week? Crying or Very sad

I hear you. Santa Cruz's one and only axon is stuck at 10:19... 19 minutes into my one and only class of the day*.. anything before 9-ish I can deal with, anything after 12:30-ish I can make, no problem.. but no.. 10:19.

*sigh*

It's not like the Operator's gonna try two live calls in a row to the same axon, anyway.

Well, technically I have a dicsussion section at 4-5:10.. but it's not manditory, so i could sacrafice it if need be. The class I've got from 10-11:45 is Cryptography.. Real heavy Comp. Sci mathematics, I can't risk damning myself for the off chance that SC will be Live again.

There's a new axon 'round my way. 1 KM SW of Keystone, as Blackforge tells me.

There are 10 Axons in Long Island (NY) this round. One of them is probably inside the Garden City Country Club, another is at a confirmed location on Northern Blvd (probably my best bet to make crew). The one another Long Islander got previously on Rt 110 I think is back, and the one right near my house will be at 6:53 PM, PLENTY of time for me to get home from work! THANK YOU PMs!!!

I will most likely be taking time off work tomorrow; given the clustering and driving time, I might be able to hit about half of them.

I will post a more detailed breakdown after lunch in the NY area thread.

XStryker, signing off.

Tomorrow is the day... I will at last hit the 12:27 Axon in Uptown New Orleans. Hopefully it will be Live Melissa. But there will be no singing here! Hopefully my language skills will impress her.

So my axon is one of three simultaneous axons that day... what are the chances it'll be a live call?
