 		i don't necessarily agree with them having met before here. alex says it in a very question-y way, like a "hello haven't seen you in like 4 years?", then jay doesn't have time to respond, partly because the last person he expected to see shows up, and he's motioning danger around the corner.

It sounds more to me like he's getting his attention and pointing something out to him. Otherwise Jay would have been a lot more surprised. And wouldn't talk out loud as loud as he was.

Well, he was one of the original four/five, right? He was involved in the student film, so he probably saw The Operator at least once. Maybe he decided to go after him as well. Didn't Alex say that stuff had happened to the others, Sarah being missing and stuff?

It is highly likely that the blood in the tunnel is Alex's after this entry. Entry 29 is from J's hard drive and is filmed on the camera strapped to him, but he is also carrying his handheld. This means that the tapes that we are currently cycling through should eventually piece together how J ended up in the tunnel.

Although there may very well be an unexpected twist, the thruline here seems to currently lead to that explaining the blood in the tunnel.

 		Has anyone else noticed that when Alex first enters, his position is similar, if not the same, as the figure at the end of the tunnel in Entry #29. Perhaps it wasn't Slendy, but Alex?
If it was Alex, and if we assume for a moment that #29 takes place before #35, then maybe #29 was when Alex and Jay finally encounter each other again and team up in a way?
I don't know, it's just a theory, and of course I'm going to have to wait for more entries and information to edit/re-do my theory.

No. Jay and Alex came there together at Alex's instigation. Jay is addressing him at the start with the "but there's nothing here!" bit.

What I'm saying is that Alex wasn't trying to kill Tim, only to subdue him hence the "He won't be following us." So a good way to subdue someone is by crushing their leg with a giant rock. The guy screaming is Tim, and yes the screaming sounds demonic, but Tim's coughing sounded monter-ish as well. That scream was definitely tim.

The distortion was either Tim himself (as we saw when he broke into Jay's house and distorted the camera) or the Operator. I want to say it was Tim, and the reason that it fully distorted the camera was because his emotions were so high that his usual frequencies that interrupted cameras also turned high.

 		Well... if they met before surely J would have uploaded THAT entry. Maybe Alex told J online through email or a Youtube message and told J to go at a certain time and look for something.

When Alex first walks in, he points to the hallway Masky came from well before Masky comes in to attack. Maybe J and Alex were supposed to explore that place together?

 		Frickin' killer entry right here. I was hoping for an Operator appearance this time, but they seem to have something else in mind for season 2.

A little speculation I want to share: I noticed how Tim's knee was up right before Alex hit him with that stone. If Alex kneecapped the poor fellow then that explains why he's got a limp months after the fact; injuries like that don't heal cleanly. There, my hat is now officially in the ring (hopefully no-one's said this already).
