Okay, but no, theory time. Am I the only one that thinks Alex sent J the tape KNOWING Tim would follow J wherever he went, and thus was using J to set a trap for Tim?

Alex may indeed be a master manipulator luring J into it the whole time.

EDIT. Nevermind, he was in the same green shirt. I just thought he'd changed because of lighting.

 		So we know Masky is Tim (which, I don't know how much more obvious they could have made it before this), and Alex got away from his last attack pretty...okay.

I'll admit I jumped out of my skin when Tim popped out ;-; Was totally looking in the very back for Slendy instead.

I thought it was kinda funny how Alex just waltzes in like, "Oh, hai J." after all that time. And I love how J's all rage-y (AND TALKING!) this time.

I think Tim's leg is just broken - I'm pretty sure it's the same Masky in 33, and if everyone was right and there was actually a 'limp' to his walk and not just a stumble then I think he just broke his leg so he couldn't follow them.

This was a pretty straightfoward entry to me, although it answered who Masky is and we see Alex is ok. I just can't wait to see the next one which might show where they went or what happened after this fight.

Anyone else still wondering what the hell happened to Brian? Still? (I am)

If you watch Tim's initial charge, he's got his arm cocked like he's about ready to stab someone. I assume that's where the knife came from- he rushed Alex with the knife and managed to get him, however minorly.

Also, Tim isn't Alex's friend. Granted, he could have been lying, but in the interview with Tim, Tim says that Alex was more of a friend of a friend, through Brian.

EDIT: Actually, there are some clear clips from when he rounds the corner that you can see the knife in his hand.

I've had that thought since I re(re-re-re) watched it, and the possibility of maybe Alex had watched J the first time he showed up, and then, apon J looking back into the house (which is why J was pissed looking) and Alex came in to save his ass. Then crush some bones.

A little speculation I want to share: I noticed how Tim's knee was up right before Alex hit him with that stone. If Alex kneecapped the poor fellow then that explains why he's got a limp months after the fact; injuries like that don't heal cleanly. There, my hat is now officially in the ring (hopefully no-one's said this already).


Lol unfortunately it has quite a bit now, but its good that everyone seems to be reaching the same conclusion. unless we're all wrong, which would suck.

I'd agree with this if noentry were to take place after this entry, and were Alex having killed Tim. Sadly, seeing as Tim is in #33, I can't really say I much agree. Why would Alex have been there? And why is he causing distortion?

It's very possible that the tape or tapes where he met up Alex are missing, is it not? I mean, this isn't the first time parts of the tape are missing. And for the people who are thinking that Jay was talking to himself, it seems that he was talking to Alex which is why he was asking Alex, "What am I supposed to be seeing?"

What I'm saying is that Alex wasn't trying to kill Tim, only to subdue him hence the "He won't be following us." So a good way to subdue someone is by crushing their leg with a giant rock. The guy screaming is Tim, and yes the screaming sounds demonic, but Tim's coughing sounded monter-ish as well. That scream was definitely tim.

The distortion was either Tim himself (as we saw when he broke into Jay's house and distorted the camera) or the Operator. I want to say it was Tim, and the reason that it fully distorted the camera was because his emotions were so high that his usual frequencies that interrupted cameras also turned high.


If he wasn't trying to kill him, then what in the hell did he plan on doing with that knife? And more importantly, you will not now, not ever convince me that was a human being screaming. Not if Tim created a youtube account and made a video that said "Hi, I'm ____, I play Tim in Marble Hornets. That noise was me screaming." I'd say "You are a lying sack of shit guy who plays Tim."

 		Theory 1: this whole thing is Tim's fault. Tim did something which caused him to earn the attention of the Operator. As a result of being stalked by the Operator, Tim becomes paranoid and aggressive, as we see in many of the clips from the IG MH shoot. Alex somehow finds out about the Operator. My guess would be that he confronted Tim about it, fearing that by being around Tim the rest of the cast/crew is in danger. Somehow this results in the Operator paying attention to Alex. He then abandons the project and moves away, presumably to distance himself from Tim, who is an Operator-magnet. Jay comes along and opens everything up, and Tim sees an opportunity to find Alex. This theory doesn't explain his motivation for doing so.

Theory 2: everything is Alex's fault. Alex was the first to be stalked, and caused Tim to be stalked, and now Tim wants to find Alex in the hopes of finding a cure for Operator-sickness (sounds hokey, I know, but that's the best way I could think of to word it). Alex has managed to evade the Operator and is now trying to distance himself from Tim to prevent the Operator finding him again.

The two theories converge:
Alex is on the run from Tim, Jay is trying to find Alex, Tim is following Jay. Alex gets Jay to go to the middle of nowhere, since he knows that Jay won't be able to escape Tim by himself. He breaks Tim's leg to prevent Tim from following them, or at least to slow him down. I'm also considering the possibility that Alex was attempting to murder Tim and failed. Note, Tim did not seem at all rational to me. Tim is bleeding copiously, and Jay and Alex dump him in Rosswood Park. But they're too late, and the Operator has found them.

In light of this video, I'm pretty much considering "Fragments" to be a threat towards Alex, or (less likely) Jay.

My theory is that Tim survived, comes back to kill alex later while he's with Jay, knocks out Jay, puts camera on Jay, Jay wakes up confused, finds blood trail, meets the Operator. noentry. boom.

Maybe Jay is running away from Tim in noentry?
