I got the impression Jay was not expecting Alex to attack Tim. Though he was carrying a knife, once it was taken away he seemed harmless. Jay may have planned to get some answers out of him.

 		Alright, so I have no doubt in my mind that Alex and Jay met up before this. Imagine with me for a moment, if you will:

Okay, so you're Jay, right? You've been searching for this guy for literally over a year now, and you find him. Excitement! Right? Finally some answers! However, the guy won't tell you Anything except that you have to go back to this house for some reason and won't tell you Why.

Wouldn't you be pissed? Wouldn't you be angry at him? Wouldn't you want to prove him wrong?

So you go back to the house, you get in before him, you switch on the camera (on his orders), kind of look around in a half-assed fashion (even looking under a piece of random wood, just to show off how ridiculous this is.)
So you get even more angry! You yell at the the guy, tell him again that there's nothing here, that you've been here before.
He tells you to shut up, you're attacked by a Masky (sort of getting it) you find out he apparently has brought stuff to bind him up, and then you find out he's planning to kill him.
You're shocked, you're dismayed- and then the camera cuts out.

Don't know about the last bit, but I have no doubt that first bit is how it happened. I also think this was quite a bit later in the seven months, and we'll see the original happy reunion soonish.

Makes sense considering we can't be sure if the cables were there already or brought along. Though I don't recall Alex carrying them when he first appeared.

Again, not sure if the last bit is as real, but the first part is definitely (as far as I'm concerned) what has occured.

It seriously seems almost impossible to go through each of these theories and give each of them the time and recognition they deserve. To a certain extent, I have gone through each and every single one. So many of the details are a little fuzzy (no duh there, huh?)

It appears that a couple camps have developed here. One camp seems to believe that Tim/Masky's leg is broken, hence the limp in Entry 33. Others seem to believe that Tim/Masky was killed and another Masky has taken his place because the physical differences between Tim and "Entry 33 Masky". In all honesty, that seems a little far fetched. If anyone would be trying to hinder Jay from seeing the tapes, it might possibly be Alex, trying to stop Jay from seeing something that would ruin Jay's seemingly "Superhero" view of him. On this argument, I have no idea... But, I assume that Tim is alive, and well (minus the limp), but as for the well being of Alex, I have no idea.

The other "camp" is that people seem to be divided between whether or not Jay and Alex met before they got the house. I'm lead to believe that they reunited in this scene, but everything happened so fast, that it's really all up in the air. Have any of you tried tracking down an old friend? Even in less supernatural circumstances, you're hardly able to contain yourself. I have a hard time believing that after suffering so long and hard to find his friend, that Jay would just be quiet because Alex held a finger up to his mouth. After all, we've speculated that Jay's been to this house several times, and since he's posted nothing else regarding the house, we have to assume that his other visits have been relatively boring. Why would this time be any different? Therefore, it's easy to speculate that they met before hand, but again... we won't know anything unless things get cleared up later.

This was by FAR one of the most entertaining entries in recent history. I'm glad things are picking back up again.

I don't post often guys, but I am paying attention to your posts. Very entertaining, spooky, and interesting stuff.

 		OH DEAR. The Keymaster and the Gatekeeper are together, or more to the point were together. I am more certain now than I ever was before that my early theory is right. Alex and Jay meeting up is not a good thing at all. Only bad things can happen. One of the two if not both are on Slendy's side, I'm certain of that too.

The more of Masky I see, the more I think he has virtually nothing to do with Slendy. If Slendy was using him to try to get to Jay or Alex (Jay is more believable as we know he got to Alex in 26), them messing with Masky would only anger the Operator I would think. Hell, if they HAD outright killed him in this vid, I think Slendy would have showed up right then and there and consequences would have been suffered.

Something is really off with this season, so much more than the last one. It has an entirely different feel to it. We don't know where Jay is, and for all we know he's back at the Hotel California with Jack Nicholson. Alex's appearance was odd to say the least here. Masky revealing himself and going "OOGGA BUGGA!" and then doing what he does best...failing and flailing is also just weird. His mystique is now all but gone and that's a shame....UNLESS it's all part of the plan. His videos were some of the creepiest to date, but he has not delivered anything truly worthy of his promises. Oh and the blood in the tunnel could be Alex's as others have stated, or it could be every cast member's of MH. Think about it...

troy's talked about how he's wanted to portray jay to be more human this season, instead of a walking, story-progressing robot. he has started talking to the camera more this season (he whispers a LOOK AT ME!!! at tothepark when he's staring off into the distance, a "MY SAFE" after he tries jessica's safe and realizes that the combo is for his, and that little monologue in the beginning of 34), and i feel like he's just having a cathartic experience here. Jay's POV (i'm arguing here that he's yelling at nothing and that he hadn't met up with alex yet, they both pretty much go together): I have one lead. I've been to this house at least once (it's possible he's been here again, we/jay just never saw the tape) and i've found nothing. i have no other clues. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!!!!!!!

 		I think that this was "the big reunion" of Alex and Jay. Not because of Alex's tone, but the fact that Jay didn't say anything back. If I had spent over a year trying to find a guy who could very well be dead or possessed, and they suddenly showed up out of nowhere, I would be too shocked to say anything.

Too bad Masky was there to ruin the moment.

I'm not saying I believe that myself, but we shouldn't be so quick to dismiss things we don't know for sure.

 		There's a lot of posts in this thread I want to respond to (a lot of good ideas that I like, too), but it will take far too long to do a proper quote-and-post (and I have class in 30 minutes), so I'll just post my take on this one:
  • Clearly dissatisfied with his original pass through the building, Jay goes back in a more in-depth look.
  • Jay's annoyance at not finding anything obvious, he voices them out loud. Remember that he's recording this either for his own or someone else's benefit to view later (much like Alex did when he was in his paranoid "film myself 24/7" phase). I often talk to myself like this as well, so I don't see anything wrong with it.
  • Alex shows up on his own. He didn't expect to find Jay there.
  • Someone (Masky) knocks over something metallic in the back room, prompting Alex to shush Jay and direct his attention towards it.
  • His cover blown, Masky lunges out of the back room and attacks... Alex -- practically ignoring Jay. This fits my previous speculation that he's not been trying to harm Jay at all, but instead prod him in a certain direction.
  • There's a struggle and distortion (which may or may not be due to the camera being dropped) and Alex and Jay are able to subdue Masky and remove his mask, revealing it to be Tim.
  • More distortion as Jay picks the camera back up, but this is clearly Masky-style distortion (not quite Operator-style).
  • Alex asks for the knife, probably intending to kill Tim.
  • Jay refuses, so Alex grabs a rock and declares "he's not going to follow us," likely intending to smash in Tim's head. It's unknown how successful Alex is, but we clearly see Tim/Masky show up later at Jay's hotel sporting a very obvious limp, so it's likely that Alex just smashes his leg. It's possible he did hit Tim's face, but we don't know for sure.

I'd like all your thoughts on this. Anything you'd like me to expand on? Any holes I obviously missed? I'm refusing to accept that Masky Entry 33 is a different person, mostly because that Masky is clearly wearing Tim's clothes and has the same hair and sideburns as Tim, so if it was someone else, that would just be creepy and unnecessary. It's simpler to accept that it's still Tim.

sideburns, jacket, hair. we also know that OoG tim was at the hotel. i feel like there's almost 0% chance that any other masky appearances we've seen this entire time is anybody not tim.

I'm definitely hearing it, it's just as Alex picks up the rock and turns, he clearly says "He's not gonna follow us". It's at quite a low pitch but it comes through clear on my bassy speakers, doesn't sound like distortion or glitchery as in #23, just the acoustics of the room and the fact Alex's back was turned.

One of the things I enjoy most about lurking this forum is that for every single entry, every poster will single out the least important detail of the video, pick a particular interpretation of it and REFUSE TO CHANGE THEIR MIND FOREVER. It's highly entertaining, especially that guy who ragequit during the Door War of '33.
