First time posting, big reader (just skimmed the whole thread)

So, there are two things I really wanted to mention/bring up. I don't know if it's been brought up at all.. like I said, I skimmed majority of the thread but:

1) Tim is perfectly okay in his interview with Jay

.. but he wasn't okay while Alex was still around. Remember Entry 20? (Posted after the interview but it was still footage from Alexs tapes) Tim is hacking up a lung and even takes some pills. When Alex left, things must have calmed down. Tim probably started to get better. After all, didn't Jay leave the tapes alone for three years? And Tim was still around for an interview? Slendy probably got bored and chilled for a while in his red tower or something.. But when Jay started poking around, he brought back everything Alex had run away from. Tims symptoms probably started to return - harder than the first time around? - and thus he became Masky.

2) TiMasky pushes past Jay and goes straight for Alex

Hasn't this been reoccurring a bit? Jay never seems to get hurt. Even in Entry 23 when the last image on the tape was obviously of Slendy, Jay just magically finds himself back at home all safe and sound (Except for his broken camera.) In Entry 19, Masky is in Jays room while Jay is asleep. It's the perfect chance to hurt and/or even kill Jay but he's untouched. The only thing Masky did was apparently steal his pills back and make Jay disappear for a few hours..

The first time I think Jay was in any real danger was when he was in Brians house - but not just 'cause Masky was there. No, because Jay started coughing. Something in that house was making him cough - a symptom we've seen before. He even nearly collapses a few times. Maybe Masky showed up to scare Jay away? What if Masky is the one trying to get help or even protect Jay?

Getting back to Entry 35, to those who said Tim rushes past Jay because he's going to make a run for it (Being out numbered and all..) but isn't there that doorway in the little closet room to the left of Jay? Why didn't he bust through that instead of running past Alex and Jay?

My personal opinion and all but I don't trust Alex anymore. There's just something about his character that doesn't sit right with me anymore. He was absolutely terrified in the beginning.. but now? He's become highly aggressive and doesn't seem afraid in the least bit. He wasn't even phased by the cut on his arm other than shouting 'oh god.' Maybe he's done running away.. maybe he's gone off the deep end.. but it really seems like he knows more than he's letting on.

... also has Jay ever actually had an encounter with Slenderman and remembered it?..

Who else thinks the inevitable TTA video will contain the missing video/audio from this scene? Maybe some mysteries will be resolved earlier than we expect...

So, right now.. I'm with the theory that Tim is somehow working with Operator, be it willingly or not. Either Operator is literally claiming his mind and "controls" him, or Tim went insane after being hunted by him, and decided that Alex (and eventually J) are the ones responsible for his misery, thus trying to take revenge on them - that would explain why he is willing to sit around and wait for God knows how long and the stalkerish behaviour, but..

I definitely agree that Alex doesn't seem trustworthy.

I've also thought of TiMasky as more of a helpful "watcher" type person.
Though can you really be called a watcher when you resort to physical attacks?

Ok I haven't read through the ENTIRE thread, but I've seen some debate on whether or not Jay and Alex were teamed up prior to this video; so has anyone asked Jay if there was a date on this tape? If this were pretty close to Entry 34, then I doubt they would've teamed up in such a short time

I don't think Tim would have attacked Alex, or come out at all, if Alex didn't send Jay in after him. I got more of a "cornered dog" feel from him than an aggressive one. Clearly Alex sent Jay to flush Tim out, either because he wanted somebody else to see how nuts Tim had gotten or because he was legitimately afraid of him. For some reason watching this entry made me feel better about Tim and worse about Alex's intentions, as it seemingly did for many other people. I wouldn't be shocked to find that Alex has made some kind of "deal with the devil" that Tim knows about and is trying to stop or at least keep Jay away from. Some of the entries could be interpreted as Masky being Jay's guardian angel (an exceptionally creepy guardian angel perhaps, but still). Of course I wouldn't be shocked if this is totally wrong.
