 		So Pennsylvania has both a land of ash and fire, and a land of ice. I'm thinking he's been taking the kids along on some of his Greatest Hits tour (play Freebird).

The quotes are no surprise to me. They were flashing back either to their own pasts or they were clicking over into the previous four kids. I notice the pirate/Candle Cove stuff was highlighted again. Also note mention of Vinnie shouting Biblical verse.

I have to hop on the subway shortly. I'll keep up as I can tonight before I meet people. I'm really curious what their next move will be now.

Yes. I'm a bit puzzled, though. In the "Hidden Videos" video, Evan has a line that's not included in the letter: "It-it's not like we unlocked the door, or broke the door or anything, he just... we didn't even use 'em." Is this from a separate event, do you think? Since they disappeared out of a store, talking about "breaking the door" seems odd.

 		I imagine it's the same event. I think they probably just omitted it.

I assume they were just at home and Evan is referring to a simple physical door. We can go on all sorts of flights of fancy in another direction from that line but I'm not inclined to, not about that anyway.

Right, that's exactly why I'm confused. The bit about the door does seem to make sense if they disappear from inside their home, but in the letter we find that "Maryann called me frantically from a store in town. The children had gone missing. " I'm not going to even try to speculate on what's going on with that, but it does seem to clash with the "door" bit.

 		Another thing, I'm a bit confused about here. Was talking to Dixie about it in Angora.

The letter specifies that the children were transported 300 miles east. And they were, as Alliance, Ohio, and Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, are 342 miles apart by car. (At least in 2011.)

However, it also makes mention of being "just across the border" into Pennsylvania. Mt. Pocono is close to a bordering state...just not Ohio. That state would be New Jersey.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong here. But that seemed a little odd to me.
