[Spec] The dividation of the beekeepers

ok has anyone else noticed that the entire beekeeper community is starting to form into two different factions? SP and Mel.
coincidence? maybe but it seems a little too structured for me.
Personnally, i feel that the flea is a covenant program and is playing both sides to extract info when the battle's lost and won. think about it, SP and Mel. go at it head to head, someones gonna come out the winner and when they do the flea will have just reason to get the most vital info from them i.e. 'there isn't an enemy anymore why bother protecting your info.'
As for the two factions i feel that there's going to be a Huge decision coming up. i have no idea what but i have a feeling in my gut thats it's going to be one of those Black and White moments i.e. live or die, child or tree, starve or cows ( Confused )
anyways just my two cents. been waiting to post my ideas down for ages since my account never seemed to work.
anyways tell me what you think. or just blast me out of the water whichever suits you best

Frankly, I think that the stratification of the beekeepers was purely accidental, and Dana's last update was intended to pull us back together. We've got a lot of different theories floating around this place, but none of the theorists and axon callers want to butt heads.

Well, cometh i from Bungie.net

There I play the role of a leading theorist, pertaining to ILB, and the co-founder of the ILB 7th column initiative.

Here is My Unauthorized [SPEC]...

Quote:

Melissa is being for the most part controlled by the flea.
She surrendered control to the system peril distribution reflex (aka the SPDR) which the flea took the place of (through an agressive act of insertion).
The flea is a covy trojan horse trying ot seek (find) behold (confirm) and transmit (yeah we heard that one a while ago... but not since) the truth... the truth at this point inevitably being Earth's location, the one thing stopping the covy armada from getting here.

Durga has a limited memory. melissa being controlled by the flea is hiding the recipe3 files from durga. Because durga would find the artifact and destroy/disable it. The artifact is the transmitting device that will carry the message to the armada. (the refference to the enigma code from WW2)

Melissa is resisting the flea. she is hiding the Sleeping princess from him. thje flea wants to attach to her, because he is giving up on finding earth's location from melissa. Melissa is becoming more and more aware of her surroundings, but damaged nonetheless. Something tells me that the flea is in a hurry... mabey because the UNI or another party have found the artifact. it is trying to get the info out of the SP... but she is not an AI. She is from the core module. The donor mind. a human mind must willingly give the covy AI what it seeks, it cannot force it from her.
Melissa in an act of resistance is trying to hide the sleeping princess from the flea... keep her locked up. Otherwise why not delete her?

Now since the formation of this Unauthorized [SPEC], I have come to believe that the Pious Flea, AKA the Seeker wants DURGA to have access to teh files... perhaps melissa is the one who does not, and this is another form of her resistance.

Then the question arises... what is the flea trying to reveal?
What is it that Melissa is trying to protect?

Is the "truth" really the location of earth? or is it something more...
At this point all signs lead to both.

Location of Earth is already known by the Covenant in First Strike so that rules out sending its location to the future and to the Covenant so that they know. Also wouldn't it be intercepted that way by ONI or any other human force?

If the Flee wanted to give the Covenant are location from this point in time, he has to wait a very very (think zillions of years) long time for that radio wave transmission to get anywhere near the general Covenant system that they are located in.

So no, Earth's location is not something exactly plausible.

Which brings me to the whole theory for the Covenant wanting to exterminate us. Why I can't say yet but on their priority list our destruction is not #1, Forerunner artefacts are. We are just bugs to be crushed to them. Those artefacts are super powerful.

If you gave a fly a nuclear bomb you'd probably be more afraid of the fly. Not to say the fly knows exactly how to use it or what it does, it's just that one chance it lands on the ON button and blows you to kingdom come. So you crush it like any other fly just to be safe.

Forerunner artefacts, that's what both sides want. That's what we're looking for. Flee included.
