Two-Part Slender Man mini-movie No, this isn't one of those "O HAI GUISE LOOK WHAT I FOUND! MITE B SLENDY BUT IDK! I totally didn't make it!" topics.
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7nwOpR8sv8
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw0I2aghwpQ&feature=related
Looks like a one-man project. Great atmosphere, creepy ass music, although the narration and acting can be a bit heavy-handed. Definitely some interesting twists.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Though it's pretty obvious he didn't have the resources/know-how to make a proper Slender Man.
All in all, an interesting watch. And if you don't like it, you're only out about 15 minutes.

Yeah, it's definitely laughable at certain points. Like Slendy being little more than a suit hanging from a lamp.

awesome soundtrack, although the lightbulb-headed slendy made me laugh hard.

lol.
It's good. I approve. The music and light made me want this to be a SlenderJesus thing.
Thankfully, it wasn't.

I tried to keep it together but I lost it at the stick figure drawings.
I thought it was hilarious and entertaining and very well-filmed, I think he did an amazing job!

Only watched the first part so far:
Well, the filming was nice and it's a cool idea, but the dialogue for most of it was....ow. Just...I dunno, straight up talking about Slenderman almost always comes off as really awkward to me. And I was kinda eh with the music, it just added to the cheesy. Hoooowever, I did really like the ending. That was cool and actually legitimately creepy, especially with the weird voice thing.
And after part two:
Oh god, lost it completely at SLEENDERMAAAAN whispers.
Well, that was...interesting. Yeah, he had some cool ideas but the execution wasn't all that great. Still, that was pretty amusing.

A for effort, but overall, a C-.
It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't good either. I just couldn't take it seriously. It was way too funny, in the bad way.

Honestly I'm probably going to get crucified for saying so but the whole thing reminded me of a Christopher Nolan production. The soundtrack, the melodramatic dialogue, the twists. Leo DiCaprio in a suit playing himself in the main role.

It's a really bad Slenderman fanfic given too much budget and direction from a filmmaking teacher I think.
It would have gotten a A in a classroom, but this isn't a classroom. He didn't take the time to set the right mood required to tell a Slenderman story, he didn't set the right atmosphere, the whole thing was a folly.
The writing was only par. A lot of it I thought was really bad. His monologue-ing was painful to listen to. His acting just isn't that great.
He lost a lot of it in the actual filmmaking. Too many amateur filmmaking techniques applied (color correction/filters, music, dramatic camera angles), and no real feeling of Slenderman.
I did like how he looped it around, but I think that's the only good thing about it. Otherwise, this can be dismissed as just another random story with "slenderman" in it to try to get some attention. Notice how he put "SCARY!" in the title. How lame.

I wouldn't have known it was meant to be scary if he had omitted it from the title.

I liked it, even if it was a bit hammy.
A self-contained story with no first person shaky-cam? I'll take it over the rest of the poorly shot vlogs that go nowhere.

You know what I like about these?
They're short. And I don't mean that in a 'thank god it's over' way. I mean it sincerely, because while the product itself was... not as good as some others, with a fairly poor storyline and plot development, the creator did not try to go beyond his capabilities and make a full series or on-going creation. They recognized their limits and did not attempt to go beyond that, which is something I really respect.
A lot of people complain about blogs that are just blogs and have no video or photo-manipulation, and that's sad to me. A lot of those blogs are really well written and have great stories, but some people don't just want to read, so these blogs get labeled as 'poorly executed'. Really, all that's happening is that the blogger recognizes that they couldn't create a believable video or manipulation, and so they work with what they have. They don't try to go beyond what they've got.
This video is somewhat similar. The acting is bad and the props are laughable, but the creator doesn't push beyond what his current capabilities are, and I respect that. And I have to agree with ZorakRamone: I will definitely take this over the sad, rambling vlogs littering youtube.
