 		Nice job, everyone... Very, very impressive...

all we can do now is wait for more from Loki... using Google's "site" program, I noticed that there's no other site extension...

Meaning that http://www.ragna-rok.net/ is all there is... No other pages...

But why do I suspect that there is a message hidden in the golden apple picture? Anyone wanna steno that for me? I'm kinda busy w/ AP homework and trying to kill this cold...

I'd say the reflective fire on the bottom half of the apple is the best start. "The Big Apple" has been highlighted though out the game.

Setting New York on fire? um....maybe?

Hi guys

I just got my profile going, but I've been following everything.

This golden apple looks like it could possibly be a HRDI map, a technique used by 3D artists to capture lighting information for an environment by taking a photo of a reflective ball. The results look a little like that apple.

When trying to 'unwrap' the apple, I found the lower half is all sky, and the top appears to be windows or fluro lights, all in a row. This is unusual, as typically the sky appears at the top of the map.


I don't know if this could be significant, but you never know

Mind providing us some jpgs, or something? Visuals would be very helpful to help you figure out what you're looking at...

Just from looking at the apple without the unwrapping, it looks like the upper part are skyscrapers or some other tall building (at night, with light coming out of the windows), the bottom is obviously on fire. I agree with the previous conclusion that this is new york city on fire. More symbolism than clue?

I'm not based in the states, but isn't NY known as the 'Big Apple'?
If the reflections are indeed New York on fire, it might tie into Ragnorok, the end fo the world.

According to the 'Oldsoldiers Redacted2' file earlier in this forum, Karl Justice was killed by a few bombs set off as he was being tried in the New York Criminal Court.

Could this be an interpretation of K Justice's death being the begining of Ragnorok?

 		In researching the apple with Norse mythology I find it's strongly idealized as the source of immortality and eternal youth.

I know there has been a lot of talk about Justice "Coming back to life" and the inconsistent dates of the Death Certificate.

Maybe the image is a symbol to those who know the message that Justice is back and whatever operation has been set up is ready to be underway.

It is possible that 'Justice is coming' is a coincidental play on the name Karl Justice, specifically to confuse us.

It may be referring to the actual belief in justice in a moral sense, as KJ was martyred, so perhaps 'justice is coming' means the eternal life of the idea of justice.

In Norse mythology, Loki was responsible for the apples of eternal life being stolen along with Idunn, their keeper. He went back solo go rescue her and the apples, and then had to run (fly in the story) for his life. Could our Loki's information be, metaphorically speaking, the recovered apples and Idunn?

I've read through the threads so far, but must admit I'm getting lost on what has and hasn't solved. Does anyone who's been on since the beginning want to summarise the tasks/puzzles that still need completion so people just joining can help out?

 		Summary
Righto, here's a quick rundown:

The first post is from a guy who got an email from the Cloudmakers website, advertising an Odd Jobs website. Upon visiting this site, you either get the real site (the whole thing is an image, the only link that works is the 'take test now'), or you get a white screen saying 'LOKI HAS BEEN VERY NAUGHTY. WE'RE WATCHING YOU'. Upon selecting all on the latter page, it reveals this forum adress in white text.

The same guy also recieved a bunch of documents in the mail, which he scnanned and uploaded on page 1 of this forum. These were from someone calling themselves 'Loki'.

Once completing the 'take test now' jobs quiz on Odd-jobs.com, you recieve a confirmation email containing and encoded message at the bottom. A translated version can be found earlier in this forum, but at some point a poem is revealed leading you to add "odin.html" to the end of the odd-jobs.biz site. This whole thing revolves around Norse mythology at this time.

The new page reveals a large picture of Odin, Norse King of the Gods, who had only one eye. Click on his pupil and it is actually a link to a military document. There were also over 30 small white pixels illuminated when all is selected on the Odin pic, possibly forming a map or pattern.

Later on, someone discovered a picture of a tree containing a hidden message when the hue of the picture was adjusted in photoshop (a clue hinted at in a poem), revealing a message directing you to the newest site, http://www.ragna-rok.net

On this page, once again select all to reveal black text saying 'YOU'RE ON THE RIGHT TRAIL'.

And that's what we've found out so far. The documents mailed to the guy on page 1 of this forum concern a man called Karl Justice, and all this is somehow tied to him.

Doesn't make a lot of sense.


Also, on that Wikipedia article about golden apples i noticed this:

Bragi says that after hitting an eagle (Þjazi in disguise) with a pole, Loki finds himself stuck to the bird, and being pulled further and further into the sky, his feet banging against stones, gravel, and trees, and he felt his arms might be pulled out from his shoulders. Loki shouted and begged the eagle for a truce, and the eagle responds that Loki would be free unless he made a solemn vow to have Iðunn come outside of Asgard with her apples. Loki accepts and returns to his friends Odin and Hœnir. At the time the Þjazi and Loki agreed on, Loki lures Iðunn out of Asgard into "a certain forest", telling her that he had discovered some apples that she would find worth keeping, and told Iðunn that she ought to bring her apples with her so that she may compare them with the apples Loki discovered. Þjazi arrives in eagle shape, snatches Iðunn, flies away with her, and takes her to his home, Þrymheimr."

I'm thinking that following Loki's trail may not lead to a good end in the story, that said right now there is only Loki's trail to follow. I could be over-thinking that though.

I would also definitely say that Karl Justice is alive.



Finally, Ragnarok (Loki's new site's address) appears to be a series of events set to happen in the future, including a battle.

f/e-mail = female, so Loki is asking 'Is there any man or woman who will help me?'
