I think we're just in an unfortunate spot when it comes to GF.

If it is something that GF is doing on his own, I don't think there is an incentive from Jeff or one of the guys to scream down with the Voice of God to condemn it. The only thing we have linking GF's videos to EMH is the brief excerpts from the videos he(GF) has already taken. If this was a case of GF claiming to know where Jessa is or something, I'm sure Jeff would find away to condemn them(Sorta like how they immediately tweeted when the "gay slur" stuff started to get out of hand). Plus, enough of us are regular readers of his IRL blog, so he knows he had has an outlet there.

Ultimately, I'd be willing to bet that as it stands now, GF's stuff is at worst a red herring and at best totally relevent and IG.

All in all, besides being cool to watch, I don't think GF's videos give much insight to what's going(YET)

Since we really can't prove it either way, I say it's best to ignore the GF videos all together.
We ignore the last two videos that were not wholly confirmed to be IG/OOG , and I think we should do the same here.
All in all, it doesn't give us much information anyway, other than that meeting the EMH guys in person could be hazardous for your health, assuming that Slendy had rubbed off on GF; which, while adding atmosphere, doesn't give us anything tangible to work with.
Instead of getting in a fuss about it it is likely the best to let sleeping dogs lie until they wake up naturally, or remain asleep.

While I like the idea of Alex being HABIT we can't prove that either.
I'm still leaning towards Vince (because there /has/ to be something more to him. He is way too stoic and static and uninvolved, especially with all the newly garnered information.), but can't prove that either.
Of course we have the most evidence for Evan, but... as one of the mining town 4, I don't know if that makes sense. we haven't seen any more mention of HABIT in the corenthal papers either, so I really wonder about that.

super curious about the password thing. i have wondered in passing if it would be the password to GF's account, like...ok, someone mentioned that the people in GFs last vid were 'shades', so...it made me think, that if GF posted a really important Private video, but set it so that no one could see but the account user, that the password would let us see it, but then I realized, this was a stupid theory as we aren't even sure of the canon-osity of the GF vids anyway, and Jeff mentioned the password paper as being from his old stash, way before GF was involved. [yay i kill my own epileptic trees]
but what in the world could the password be for?

well I considered that the USB Evan received could have a password protected section, but I doubt that since it was said in the vid that he received it from someone else. Perhaps it is to soemthing that one of them does own though.
It's more likely that it belongs to soemthing they will find soon though.m or further down the road when we've all but forgotten about the password thing all together.

The only things I could think of that had passwords were all the twitters, their E-mails, and Damsel's Stephanie's tumblr, but, uh, I tried the E-mails and twitters, just in case, and it doesn't work ^^;. Didn't expect it to. Oh, but, idea: Maybe it's the password to Evan's new (not so new anymore) computer, and there'll be incriminating HABBY stuff on there... but, I'm not sure how we could bring it up to the guys to try that on a completely unfounded hunch ("o hai, go hack into your friend's computer and find his secretz for us kthx")

Also: I think this is the second time I'm bringing it up, and I'm not on Angora much anymore so maybe/probably it's been addressed? But, didn't Grieck say

Well said Porphyrophobia. I tend to think the silence leads more credibility to TGF and you see it the other way, both are valid opinions. Nobody knows the truth for now and it is just painful. Seems like the whole series feeds off strife and discord for the characters and us as well. Brilliant stuff.
