 		[OT/SPEC] Artifact = Halo 2 "Soul Cube"?
Has anyone put any thought into the possibility that the "Artifact" recovered by the Apocalypso could be Halo 2's Ultimate Weapon, I.e H2's Equivalent of the Doom 3 Soul Cube?
If it has enough power to disrupt an entire solar system's Communications, I'm sure it would have the power to Obliterate a horde of Covie scum, as it were..
It seems to be the right size, too. A Cylinder, roughly the size fo a suitcase.. I've seen John (MC) Carry stranger things, specially in the novels.

 		I was under the impression that the Halos were the ultimate superweapons.

BTW, what do you want to bet that you'll see another Halo in Halo 2?

Bungie has clarified that there will be another Halo ring in Halo 2.

 		Its highly unlikely. Though I am concerned why there is another halo. One wasent enough to stop the flood? Or is there something else...

No, one wasn't enough to stop the Flood. That was established in the first game. The Halo Master Chief visited was Halo-04, so there had to be at least three others. No one of them had a large enough yield to handle the entire galaxy; a chain of them, a ring of Rings, was needed. They would, ideally, all be set off at once, or possibly each one would set off the next.

Actually we may see the same halo in halo 2. Crazy forerunners and their damned time warping crystals.
