Not necessary, the SP is free.

Okay, I guess it's time to start Spec for the 5th... My vote will be on "What's my favorite story?" With the answer to be told to the first axon of the morning.

Question: Who is the traitor?
Answer: hmrpita
(And anyone who says "weephun" gets electrocuted.)

New Question Unlikely, but possible:
"Where is the Assassin?"
In other words, Melissa moves from verification to investigation.

And yet, Hmrpita, you're on her approved officer list... Then again, she's shown a talent for only listening to what she wants...
Maybe: What is my mission?
To reveal the Truth.

from phase 2's Operator monologue (this is when she's having her memories messed with by the SPDR): "The Tempest and Stormy Weather all reduced to a single distillate"
The Tempest is a Shakespeare play and Stormy Weather was (of course) the song she asked for on the 28th. So i think you might be on the right track, Dragonrider. And I'm betting the Tempest is the answer if she asks that.

That might be "Favorite Play" or in some other way involve Shakespeare then.
And just FYI... A good quote from The Tempest is...
"Oh what brave new world that hath such creatures in it!"
Which is said by Maranda (daughter of Prospero) after seeing a young man for the first time. (Because Dad's old and Calaban was deformed.)

New Ground? I ask out of ignorance: Does Melissa have a pattern of making evident the correct answer to her chosen question to the crewmember who answers the first call of the day? I don't mind driving out to Dothan and failing, if it'll help everyone else get the answer right, but i think it'd be much cooler if i get it by default.
The majority of my axon posts are in the Georgia Area thread, but i live/hunt in Alabama. I'll be getting the one in Dothan @ 6:05 AM PDT, and i'll hopefully have Vortech's contact info before i leave to answer it at 3:30 AM PDT to go drive to said axon. Info would be muchly appreciated my fellow BeeKeepers.
BTW, is the current consensus currently pointing to:
Q: "what's my favorite story/play?"
A: "the tempest"?

"Stormy Weather" was the answer given to someone who answered the first live call of the day. Either she gave him this answer because no one had really thought of it, or else she is beginning to ease up because some people have already become registered crew. But if you get a recorded call, if you don't have the right answer, you won't unlock the axon or hear the correct answer. And usually Melissa says the call is not meant for you if you get it wrong.

It's always been a question about her or the ship... And, near as I could tell, the answer seems to always have been mentioned somewhere in the Operator Monologues. So if you really want to be ready for anything, I'd suggest (re)reading that,

I had a sneaking suspicion that this might be the case Astald. I don't mind it, but i certainly am hoping for another live call.
Thanks for the suggestion H.H.M. I'll brush up on my Melissa-ese by reading the Monologue again.

Last week, at least on the live calls, some people didn't know her favorite song and still got accepted. Of course, they might have been anwering an early in the morning axon so she might be less strict when the word about what the question and answer is hasn't gotten around yet.
