Speaking of off-topic posts, does anybody know what editing software Troy uses OOG?

Someone made a Lego version of the Operator: http://www.flickr.com/photos/44590462@N05/5207638388/.

Also, I was going to post Marble Hornets macros, but it ends up they came from an Unfiction thread. Here's the thread, if you didn't know about it: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31611.

I've been getting glared at by other students in my school's computer lab for laughing aloud at those.

I can't begin to describe how funny those were! XD

I recently introduced a friend to Marble Hornets. (BTW, his name is Alex Shocked )
The following exchange ocurred some days ago, after I told him about MH and he saw Entry #1 :
Quote:

Alex: Wait, WTF was that? Was it a dude?
Me: *Ominous smile*
Alex: What was it?
Me: Come on, this is barely the first video, keep on watching.
Alex: Shocked

While watching Entries 2-6:
Quote:

A: These videos arenīt screamers, right?
Me: Donīt worry, this is different, way more suspense than jump scares.
A: Oh, ok.
(A bit after, Entry 4)
A: WTF WAS THAT?!
Me: heheh
A: Seriously, what?!!
Entry 5:
A: What, what the hell?! Whatīs up with the sounds?!
Just after Entry 6:
A: Ok, man, I donīt want to watch anymore.!
Me: Twisted Evil

Use with caution! To someone without context, "I spent the day twirling the kitten" sounds kinda dirty. Especially if you're a lady. XD

Those macros were kind of awesome. Very Happy

On a different note, I've been asking the people in charge about getting a moderator to hang around who's more active than Dav, since he's been kind of sporadic and it shows. I volunteered, but they may wind up picking someone who is more of a general unfiction forumite. In any case, I was wondering about some thread merging things: I was thinking that having the threads that only have one or two pages worth of chatter could be merged into longer threads that talk about the same things. Additionally, I think it would be nice to have threads that relate to the specific characters where the chatter can be merged to if a new thread comes up. That way we can bring up speculation about videos in their threads, and about, say, the Operator or Totheark in their threads. Everything kind of gets mashed around depending on what thread people are in and at what state of pants-shitting they're at, but it might help newbies decide where to post their 'ALEX IS THE ARK BECAUSE OF HIS MIDDLE NAME!' theories. Razz

And it might help the lurkers who want to look up info about specific characters or videos, too.
