 		Great new vid that had me scratching my head for a bit while reading through the posts here. I have to say with recent videos referencing both Candle Cove and The Rake from CP, what ELSE could they throw at us from there? Scary to think about it actually. I'm starting to feel like I'm in Campfire Tales here and that movie did not end well for ANYONE

It won't end well for the crew either. I cannot shake the feeling that something huge is coming down the pipe, and that's scary. *creys*

You may be right. The relevant section from the 1981 Corenthal letter reads:

If he'd intended to leave Linnie with his brother or sister, "we'll find others" seems an odd thing to say. The bit about Rose being "known for her work with foster children" seems to be suggestive, though.


Admittedly I've never been good at following the connections to the Rake story and all but is it possible that Linnie could be Stephanie? That excerpt (she'll grow up, she'll forget me) says to me she was taken somewhere else to live, possibly put in a foster home or an orphanage. Maybe her name was changed?

I don't remember it being up until a few hours ago.

Anyways, yeah, this information would totally give us a great oppurtunity to ask some questions if we knew before now. Now it would just be inconsiderate. Has no one asked if Jessie knew a Linnie? I know asking Steph and she said it sounded familiar. But I assume we haven't heard that answer from Jessie yet?

Right now I'm just hoping she returns safely.

 		Guhh, all this Linnie-talk is driving me crazy. I keep thinking you guys are talking to me and then it's like LOL NOPE. New videos and sleep deprivation do not mix well ;-;

Back on topic...I don't remember if this was ever cleared up, so if it has, humor me please: Linnie isn't one of the mining town four, and when the latest Corenthal journal took place (the one where the kids got Slendy-napped), she hadn't been adopted yet...so, when did the Corenthals adopt her? And what were the "vicious New York attacks"? Grrr, it's just this ONE letter that doesn't fit with the rest...I guess we'll just have to wait until we're given something else to clear up bits and pieces of the mystery - hopefully, when we are, it will also shed some light on how everyone's related to each other.

Oh hey, how did I not realize this note was written the day after my birthday until now? ...*suddenly paranoid*

Gotta agree - this could start a skism between the guys - it's a shame IG I feel bad about asking people to bother them or ask after Jessie, but I feel like it's too important not too. Anyone managed to get in contact with her?

I mean, they busted her out for more than just to watch the tapes. It seems like she told Jessa more about what she knows about Slenderman(in a week) than anything she's talked to the guys about.

 		did we not at one time have a theory about slendy taking out anyone who wasn't part of the mining town 4? I'm trying to realte it to this but tbh I'm a little lost on all the talk of relations @_@.

 		Okay. Let's lay out the relations in the Corenthal dealie.

William and Rose were married. Dr. Corenthal is a sibling to one of them.

William and Rose are Jessie's Grandparents.

Since Jessie said her mother's maiden name is Corenthal, I'm inclined to believe that William is Dr. Corenthal's brother.

Here's where it gets tricky(and treeish)

Somepoint after the 1981 letter, Dr. Corenthal took his adopted child, Linnie east to be put into the care of someone else. It's not that far of a stretch to assume that his brother, noted for his work with troubled children, might have ended up as the guardian for Linnie.(Plus, the Rake CP connection). The twisty part is if William and Rose took custody of Linnie. Would Linnie keep her adoptive last name? If so, William might not be Corenthal's brother(Rose would be the relation), but Linnie might actually be Jessie's mother.

Following?



edit: Of course it's all bunk if William and Rose are Jessie's paternal grandparents, but I hope this isn't the case.

Well, her name is Jessalyn. Linnie isn't that much of a stretch.
