 		[SPEC] Is TTA/TiMasky Really a Villain?
Could he just be trying to protect Jay?
First post, haven't been lurking since lately, and only started on Slender Man Mythos when Little Kuriboh did a parody of it.

But something in the early pages of the Entry #35 caught my eye. What if TiMasky isn't actually on the Operator's side, and Alex is?

There are some actual foundations on this theory:
1. First off, TTA doesn't want Jay to know he's on Jay's side, thus the Youtube channel with creepy videos(filming him while he coughs? creepy) directed at Jay (and Alex?).

2. Anybody remember the theory by M (I think) saying that masks scare the Operator, because it is always looking at him? If Masky is on J's side, that's why he watches him as he sleeps, to keep the Operator away. Plus, perhaps Masky's video disturbance is only when the Operator is near, who he is trying to keep away. Thus, why TiMasky still wears it in #33.

3. When TiMasky first attacks Jay in the abandoned house, perhaps he only does it to try and scare Jay away from the entire Operator thing, and give up on any investigation. This is also for any other time TiMasky tries to attack J. (except Entry #33, but that's later.)

Now onto Alex being the villain.

4. Why would he give those tapes away? Perhaps he was controlled by the Operator, but not at first, which is why he didn't want to give away the tapes.

5. In Entry #26, when the Operator appears in Alex's house, Amy is really freaked out, but Alex seems too calm for what's happening. Some might say that he's just used to it, but what if the Operator was only there to say (by his presence) "It's time. Jay needs to be taken out."

6. TiMasky knows this, and knows that Alex is not out to help Jay. Thus in Entry #35, he skips over Jay and stabs Alex, however, Jay still thought that Alex was on his side.

(Now, this next theory goes off of the theory that this was the first time that Jay and Alex had met in 4 years, which is what I thought. I yell to myself at times when frustrated too.)

7. When Alex yells "Now he won't follow us anymore", perhaps he's not talking about him and Jay, but in fact, Alex and the Operator.

Now, the other stuff, mainly about Entry #33:

8. TiMasky did not kidnap Jessica, the Operator did. TiMasky just knew that Jay would go looking for her, so he tried to get him away from where Operator last was.

9. TiMasky planted the tapes/hard drives in the safe so that Jay could go "See? Alex is no longer on your side, he never was, and he tried to kill me." That's also why he took his time and waited for Jay to get the tapes before attacking.

Questions, comments, criticisms? I'd love to start a debate.

Also, I personally think Jessica comes in later as maybe Jay's girlfriend or just someone else that he meets who is being followed by the Operator. I don't know.

 		I started watching this whole thing when it was starting, and didn't keep up with it, but lately, i've been trying to catch up, so correct/forgive me if I'm wrong in some of the things I'm about to say, or if I'm just being painfully obvious...

I'm a big fan of some of your theories here. Especially numbers 2, 5, and 7.

Although J is not a very reliable narrator, we have no reason to believe that he is hiding anything, it's fairly obvious that most people involved with the project have significant memory problems.

From what I can remember, it seems that we have only seen Alex taking up the whole "drawing" thing, or at least to the extent that he does. I feel that this (not to mention the footage from Entry #26) proves that he has some sort of partnership with The Operator.

I would like to add that, although it's creepy, I feel that Masky keeps his mask on, not necessarily because he is doing anything evil or villainous, but because he would have a lot to answer for if anyone found out who he was.

This brings us to Entry #35 where we get solid proof that Tim is Masky. We also see J leaving the site looking very unhappy. I feel that this isn't because either one of them died, but, going along with the "4 masks" theory, that he was angry that one of the masks had been found out.

 		But if Masky is on Jay's side, why wouldn't he be more forthcoming about it? Why send him cryptic messages and act threatening at every available opportunity? Surely that's just counter-productive if you're aiming to help someone.

True, unless there's some split personality thing going on where one side is trying to help Jay but the other is under Slender mans control. He can't be straightforward because Slender man would find out and maybe take away what control Tim has. I don't know if these theories have any weight, mostly just thinking aloud.

 		If we assume that Masky is TTA, then, we know that he has put out various video clips that include audio and video that J didn't have possession of... This could mean that Masky had been spying on J, which is fairly apparent/obvious, but also that he has been stealing the clips, or getting them from a different source... I don't know... Not really relevant...

Masky could just be scared/hesitant to have to answer to why he had those materials and how he got a hold of them.

As for threatening, it could be another way for him to attempt to get J off his case, by scaring him away.

I feel his main point and goal is to get J to trust him, and he could be attempting to scare him into a form of trust.

Don't get sad about it, just try to not do it in the future.
Everyone's only so uptight because there have been so many threads lately that belong in already existing threads, and they're mostly restating theories that people have already posted there.
People are just trying to keep the forums clean and keep all the related information in one thread for everyone else to find.
