Right. But that also begs the question of the date of those letters...and when William actually died.(if?)


This could just be a case(another) of HABIT manipulating us to some end, since he apparently is holding all the cards.

I'm still thinking about ways to test or stretch the limits of our interactivity.

So far everyone in the trials is playing into HABIT's hands, being led around by the nose. Is there any way to change that without breaking the game? Or any way to change the way we investigate and communicate with the characters?

Realistically I don't think so. I think our sphere of effect is very limited and almost "turn based," if you will, based on what EMH parcels out to us per video or message, like yesterday. But I've had far too much cheap wine this evening so I can't help but think of any way to test our ability.

Yeah. It's certainly turn-based to an extent, but I think things are timed out as well.

Case in point, Busting Steph out.

The email Rhiannon sent to Jeff about the footage on (whaterver morse video it was) was to simply let the guys know that we actually are privy to information that we can't know. I don't think it Steph was mentioned even once.

It was Jeff who made the logic leap to bust Steph out.

That just makes me think they were just looking for an excuse to advance the game

As far as forcing HABIT's hand, I think we need to trap him in a similar logic trap. I'm a little clueless how to go about this though. My best bet is to continue to press him about himself. I think the easiest route is to address his mode of transportation. Be it conventional or spiritual. And maybe his relationship to the Rake.

Maybe ask about Ryan? (digressing: Ryan mentioned he had a bunch of emails and stuff he was going to show to the guys right before he was "rake'd". I assume this was the reason for his disposal, but I wonder if it's possible to get our(the guys) handson this. I mentioned it to Jeff before, but he didn't feel it was appropiate at the time)

I just emailed Jeff about Ryan again. We'll see how that goes.


About Jessa. I think there's a handful of things about her disappearance that we don't know yet.

I think there is a lot of speculation on the everyone's hand of what was going on when she first disappeared. I don't know if anyone IG has told us what had happened. It was just a lot of "Jeff's girlfriend broke up with him because she doesn't answer when he calls" and "She was supposed to be in class" I think we're supposed to belive that the edited in footage of Jeff and Jessa from Centralia is supposed to indicate that this was the last time they were together, but who knows. I'm too busy to bust out the "Jessa Disappearance" timeline. TLDR: I guess Jeff is the only who knows if Jessa was supposed to take a trip or not.

As far as the game play stuff. It's a question that I've wanted to ask OOG Jeff, but I've avoided because it's not a fair question to ask while the game is going on . I think it's best we operate under the assumption that we move the game along with our actions.

As far as I know, Jessa was already missing by the night they found out Jeff had left. I do not think they mentioned her going on a trip before that, but the silent scene in Centralia did seem to imply that she knew she wasn't going to see him... for a while. (I'll have to check on that, I don't remember exactly what we agreed on being said, but that's the gist of it.)
