 		Cant get to Jess's intranet either.
I cant find a logon screen either, just the sign in button, hit it multiple times, but error shows up at bottom. Stating there is an error in the code. I am using the web address with the username that a previous poster had, I am using IE7.
Really would like to get into it.....

She was kidnapped/drugged/murdered on a friday the 24 at 9:45 pm.
the closest "friday the 24"'s are
December 24,2010
September 24, 2010
July 24, 2009
April 24, 2009
October 24, 2008

November 24, 2006

If we look at her blog, we find that she stops writing in her blog on July 3,2007.

what's weird is that in jessica's research folder-> Background Information->Appendix ___the date is labeled:
1.3- 05/01/2010
1.4- 18/01/2010
1.5-14/02/2010
1.6- 01/03/2010
1.7- 29/04/2010
1.8- 11/06/2010
1.9.- 12/09/2010
1.10- 12/12/2010
and in jessica's research folder->Tests->
Drug Tests- 20/12/10
and in jessica's research folder->Private->Appedix___ the date is labeled:
1.1- 2010
1.2-03/01/2010
2.1-12/03/2009
2.2-14/03/2009
2.3-15/03/2009

It would seem that the most likely date of the kidnapping happened
on December 24, 2010. Then why did she stop her blog?

Edit: i don't know why she said FRIDAY the 24th, but it's supposed to be THURSDAY the 24th, think somethings up?

emailed jess,
it's been 10 min+ and i haven't gotten it spit back in my face ...
this may mean that it's a working email, and we'll use it later on in the game..

by the university of portsmouth in the uk..
unrelated?

edit:
the criminal was careful to only show the left side of his face.
For now, we only have two suspects:
David Spence (Lab technician who's on the same team as Jess)
and the teacher from Baghdad University who showed Jessica around
the university on monday, February 26, 2007.

the criminal had blue jeans, a mask that covered his face, and a jacket with epaulets. The jacket looked like it had piercings that kind of look metalish, or hard rockish, kinda like a biker jacket.
the hair was slicked back.
To me, it didn't look like david, it actually looked like the teacher in my opinion...

i'd post a picture but I don't know how =P...

Log_0610-mentioned "adam hunt" and robert watt from the blog.
adam hunt was a guy that she met (i think she kinda likes him) during her trip to the middle east. she ran into him on monday, 13th of september, 2010.
Robert watt is a professor in the school of psychology on the uksri website. he invited jessica to go study with him in uganda, africa.

also in the trailhead vid, did anybody else notice that she said friday the 24, and not thursday?

 		I read up, and think I'm current with mostly everything. Wow, there is a lot of material already. @user 1353: It also could be Adam. (Hunt i think is his last name. I'm not sure I'll check up on that though) Edit: His name is Adam Hunt. He is mentioned in Log_0610.

I am typing this after a middle-of-the night quick review of the 10 blog pages here, so please excuse if this question has already been answered... has anyone successfully gained "internet access" on the UKSRI site? If so, what user name and password did you use - the same as for the Black Helix site?

Also, FYI, most of the links (personnel, research projects) are not working ones.

The code at the bottom of the Would Healing document.

There are fourteen pages in the document
And the first part of each set of numbers in the code range from 1 to 14

The second part of each set of numbers go quite high.

So, we're talking about each set of numbers in the code representing a letter, or word on the given page of the document?

When I try this, I get:

joeithfrom do hsiosh

Hmm, make no sense? Perhaps the codes relate not to counted letters on each page, but to counted words....

...what do you get?

i only get sensless stuff...also when i used words instead of single letters (the 21th word on page 1, etc)

  • http://www.theblackhelix.com updated with a video of a 27yr old female being kidnapped. In the video, she's wearing an I.D. with "UKSRI" letters on it which leads us to http://www.uksri.org

  • On the http://www.uksri.org, we learn that her name is Jess and her blog http://jesshjournal.blogspot.com/

  • On her profile page, there's a link to the intranet http://www.uksri.org/intranet/user/35900621 . You can sign in by:
    Spoiler (Rollover to View):
    Clicking the "forget the password" link, a security question would pop up and the answers can be found on her blog.
    Username: 35900621
    Password: j4e55H0lton

    Note: You need to use the specific link(/user/35900621) to see the "forgot the password" link.
    You also need to sign-in your Black Helix account to access her files, or else you'll see just a standard "UKSRI" blank page.

 		I entered all of the info on the Parcel Vault site and my expected delivery date is March 5, just like everybody else.

I cannot read any of the appendixes/other documents on Jess's profile at uksri.org. It opens the file in a Microsoft Word document but all the characters are odd symbols and gibberish spread out on a lot of pages. Is the content on them important?
