Man, if TTA really is Alex, or if it was a shared account between him and Tim, I think that my mind will be completely blown. I have been lulled into thinking that TTA is Masky is Tim, and that Alex has otherwise been uninvolved.

I'm amused by the theory that this video was addressed towards Tim; that the previous video was addressed towards Alex. That Jay is now kind of lurking in the background going through these videos that were found as it appears that Alex and Tim are having the equivalent of a bitch-fight over the tubes using a single account.

In any case, I'm not sure that I'm swayed by it, though. Jay doesn't really appear to be suffering as much, recently, so I can see why people would think that video was aimed at Tim. But at the same time, I think that if it is aimed at Jay, it helps to elucidate the fact that TTA really isn't being as helpful as all that.

I'm not sure that I like how we've been set backwards a step in what the heck is going on: last season, we had a single goal of 'what happened to Alex?' whereas this season we're wondering, 'what's happening at all?!' I don't feel frustrated by the pacing of the story or anything, but I'm sort of confused about what the primary goal is that we're supposed to be wondering about, anymore. I suppose that it all hinges on waiting for Jay to sift through all of the tapes, but man, it's tough to wait for that. (Yeah yeah, story of our lives.)

One thing that seemed relatively stable throughout TTA's videos in the first season was that they often commented on a previous video, and then sort of commanded Jay to do something that wound up happening in the next. We don't have much to go off of yet, but it could be that TTA is commenting on upcoming entries, instead of previous ones. After all, he seems to have retained memories of the past seven months where Jay hasn't, so if Jay is watching these in chronological order, TTA can comment on them before they happen.

What does it mean for Broadcast? Maybe TTA got revenge on Alex, or perhaps Jay and he will come across one another again... someone's already mentioned this, just seemed like it was worth bringing up again!

I like the idea of TTA commenting on upcoming videos rather than previous ones. It could totally make sense for the current situation.

Maybe next video we see someone trying to drown Alex? Maybe there's a little bit of revenge going on there?

So we gather the similarities between this and Signal are:

-A Broadcast is sent out through a Signal
-Both are in an Anachrome Stereoscopic view
-Both Lacking any color besides basic Black and White (Not counting the Cyan and Red)
-Trees in both (This is minor, but still something)
-Dialogue not from TTA

Quick thought about the visual aspect of the mystery that is this 12 second freak fest:

It isn't actually filmed underwater. The ripples are in sync with the audio. Watch the left side of the screen for the clearest view of this.

There does appear to be a person's head and shoulders on the right side of the screen looking down at the camera.

Yup. Cyanified and redilicious. Similar to signal but clearly not of the same source material. The filming is not nearly as crisp. Take a look at the tree in signal's definition and you'll see what I mean.

I agree with the TTA=TiMasky view. It explains TTA's hostility toward Alex in Fragments. If TTA is someone else, we haven't gained much in terms of character development for him/her/it, and the unmasking becomes just a meaningless coincidence that confirms something most people already seemed to believe.

OOG, I don't know if Troy reads the forums like the guys at EMH do or if he is open to suggestions, but I think Jay IG has good reason to believe TTA=TiMasky, in which case it seems really odd to me that he hasn't confronted TTA with this through Twitter or YouTube. If I believed that this mysterious/frightening person who had been stalking/tormenting me for over a year was actually someone I knew, I would have quite a few things to say to him. Even if TTA refused to respond or did so in his characteristically cryptic manner, it would at least make Jay seem more like a real person.

While the video may be a representation of someone looking up from underwater - its definitely not *actually* filmed that way.
If you watch the left side of the video, you can see video appear in the midst of the blackness during some frames. This isn't something you would ever see underwater.

..Or at least I don't.
