the text at the footer of NOTE1 and NOTE2 is from METAMORPHOSES by Ovidius:

Quote:

and I think "septem filius" means "seventh sons"...

So "Joe" is Joe Silver.

We now know that both he and Richard Meyer are members of the Seventh Sons.

But who is "K"?

I like where this is heading! Smile

I think this is the passage from Metamorphoses corresponding to the text at the footer of the memos:

Quote:
Ilioneus, the last, with terror stands,
Lifting in pray'r his unavailing hands;
And, ignorant from whom his griefs arise,
Spare me, o all ye heav'nly Pow'rs, he cries:
Phoebus was touch'd too late, the sounding bow
Had sent the shaft, and struck the fatal blow;
Which yet but gently gor'd his tender side,
So by a slight and easy wound he dy'd.

(from here)

Apparently, the mother of seven daughters and seven sons became too boastful of her large family, and the goddess Latona sent her children to kill them--Artemis the daughters and Apollo (Phoebus) the sons. Ilioneus in this passage is the seventh son.

(edit: found a more appropriate passage than the one I posted before)

Hmm in the bodylist, there are 21 people (not all DH conestants, and they're missing some of em) BUT whats odd, is that Michael Cyphers is 7th on the list...

Kender, can you move your excellent spec over to the iaminvisible discussion thread? It would fit better over there for further discussion since this is a puzzle thread that has been solved.
