....... Where? The picture is of 8 parrots, maybe 9, it looks like there is a wing in the fire. They are flying over fire with a rocky background.....

New Tweet:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The tweet links us to a video of the Beatles song, Help. He also has a you-tube page which also has a bunch of videos that he has liked and also commented on. The videos are Counting Crows - You Can't Count On Me, Lion Sleeps tonight and Lost in the Post [spoiler]

Who:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Pretty easy, its a math equation that leads you to the coordinates of 49.6N 94.6W, which leads to a crater on the moon. It is named after a man called Luigi Galvani

When:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There is also a Morse code in the paw of the rabbit in the picture that decodes to "QTR?"

I found an interesting commonality between the When and the possible Who...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, April 20 1798 was the day that Luigi Galvani lost his chair at the University of Bologna because he refused to take an oath to the Cisalpine Republic.

Also, holy crap Nutley, thank you for reminding me that I can't do math.

EDIT:

And... following YT around YouTube, we find him commenting on things.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Help:
What I like - always good to leave a comment - Where?

Wombats:
The wisdom of this song seems apt...

Lion Sleeps Tonight:
This song, weirdly, fills me with pride...

Counting Crows:
This song is very good - fills us with calm - no longer need to murder...

His puns make me want to murder him first.

Also - Tinyeyed the background to the where picture. It is an image of hell from this site:
http://www.robertwren.com/kingdom_seeker/2009/02/hell-a-refreshing-gospeldriven-perspective.html

Also, just in case we hadn't quite hit all the connections:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
From Wikipedia:
Galvani's report of his investigations were mentioned specifically by Mary Shelley as part of the summer reading list leading up to an ad hoc ghost story contest on a rainy day in Switzerland — and the resultant novel Frankenstein — and its reanimated construct. However, there is no direct mention of electrical reanimation in Frankenstein.

The birds are parakeets, btw.

I feel that we are being pushed toward finding the collective noun for the birds, like you were saying before.

So far I've found:
company of parrots (already knew that one, courtesy you)
flock
chatter
aviary (pretty sure that one's wrong)

A wing? YT was a Wing Commander.

So far I'm not seeing it...

EDIT: He tweeted another clue at Otter; the definition of the word 'accumulate'. Yeah, that's not a location either.

accumulate our knowledge

Probably barking up wrong tree but a company of parrots in hell...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company." - Mark Twain

EDIT: A flock of parrots also called a pandemonium apparently...

Hi, btw *waves* totally fell into this, first time. Be gentle with me Wink

That might just be the clue we need.

Pandemonium is the capitol of Hell in Paradise Lost.

I'm not real sure how this all fits together though.

Ok, Pandemonium is referenced in Frankenstein:

Quote:
"It was about seven in the morning, and I longed to obtain food and shelter; at length I perceived a small hut, on a rising ground, which had doubtless been built for the convenience of some shepherd. This was a new sight to me; and I examined the structure with great curiosity. Finding the door open, I entered. An old man sat in it, near a fire, over which he was preparing his breakfast. He turned on hearing a noise; and, perceiving me, shrieked loudly, and, quitting the hut, ran across the fields with a speed of which his debilitated form hardly appeared capable. His appearance, different from any I had ever before seen, and his flight, somewhat surprised me. But I was enchanted by the appearance of the hut: here the snow and rain could not penetrate; the ground was dry; and it presented to me then as exquisite and divine a retreat as Pandæmonium appeared to the dæmons of hell after their sufferings in the lake of fire. I greedily devoured the remnants of the shepherd's breakfast, which consisted of bread, cheese, milk, and wine; the latter, however, I did not like. Then overcome by fatigue, I lay down among some straw, and fell asleep.

What is QTR?

Another red herring, something that will be referenced to later maybe?

A person, a 1/4?

Impressed with the speed and accuracy of some folks deductions. You must have done this before...

Being new to this, what is the likely (eventual) outcome?

A link to a web page that flashes "Well done. You Won!"

A t-shirt?

A map of buried treasure?

OK guys.

We have all the answers.

I feel kind of bad because I was just the first to pull the trigger and am therefore apparently special, even though this was definitely a team effort.
However, FFEYT will require your physical address to send you something. I am perfectly comfortable doing this, so I'm going to go ahead and give it to him.
He says there is a limited amount of 'puzzle pieces', but I'm not sure if he means that for right now, or for in the future, one at a time.

Anyway... you have my word that I'll fully document whatever I receive, and somebody else can be the big winner next time.

Just know that whatever YT says, it was a group win.
