 		A request to Loyal Crew
I recently sent a PM to weephun, probably Melissa's most trusted crewman, and have not yet recieved a response. I have a request to make.

My request is simple: The next time you (whichever of you accepts, if any) are talking to Melissa, I would ask that you please pass on my contact information, namely my telephone number, since I am unable to reach an axon-phone due to living in Canada.

Send me a PM if you are willing to accept this request, and I will PM you my information upon reciept of an acceptance PM.

Thank you for your time, and thank any of you who are willing to accept.

 		Yah, no response yet, sorry. This was # who's knows how many, of # even more than that of similar requests I've received. Doesn't seem to work that way, sorry.

 		A Suggestion
Of course, I'm not much of a "Loyal" anything here, just an observer more than anything else. But my suggestion would be, rather than focusing on becoming known by Melissa, if you really want to prove your loyalty, become known by those crewmembers that have communicated with Melissa. If you aid them in what tasks they perform, and at least appear to be loyal to that, then you're as much a loyal crewmember as any. She can't possibly expect to be able to contact all of her crewmembers, and that lack of communication shouldn't keep you from being able to continue down that path of the game.

I can accept that, however I would like to know why it 'doesn't work that way'. I'm not asking for my home phone to be made an axon, all I'm asking is to be able to do more than just sit at home and read what the rest of you (crew and others) post.

Not very easy, or possible, with them so tight-lipped about most things Melissa says to them anyway (from what I hear), especially these tasks.

 		Because so far we are only getting recorded messages, and any communication after the initial call is only done through the same methods as anyone else. 'What you hear' about us keeping secrets and not telling you what we're doing is a) two weeks old, b) done with and c) proving that you haven't been paying attention.

We can't make you crew. The only chance you have is to ask someone who actually receives a live call. And, if this wasn't a silly enough request already, tell me if you think _this_ will work:

We are not in control of who is a member of the crew. We have no input as to who joins and who doesn't. It's entirely up to the people who answer live calls, and up to Melissa. Moreover, while she has accepted people who didn't actually pick up the phone, they were always standing right there so that she could talk to them.

Just...try to follow along. The vast majority of people playing get just as much content without ever going to an axon or becoming crew. We get the same axons as everyone else so far.

Don't feel bad about not being able to get to an axon. There are still plenty of things you can do for this game. I have never gone to one of the ringing phones, yet I still unlocked 3 axons. I am sure there will be several opportunities like that one. So just sit back, keep up with the pace of the game, and when you see an opportunity to help, jump right in.

I've already said (in other threads) that I haven't been paying much attention due to time constraints such as attending classes (that don't have internet access), so what more 'proof' of that do you need?

I didn't ask anyone to 'make me crew', just to relay information so she can consider it, and besides, as far as Melissa is concerned, you guys were always her crew and have become stranded in this time as well, and I'm sure she hasn't found 'her entire crew' yet. Besides, as I said above, I haven't been able to keep an eye on the forum, so I didn't see anyone mentioning the crew only getting recorded messages.

In that case, I put forth the request to anyone who intends to answer new axons and may get a live call, instead of to the crew. If you plan on being near an axon at the appropriate time, and are willing to help me get into Melissa's good graces, PM me.[/quote]
