 		Despite the fact that we've never contacted Lawrence directly, we know he's helped Peg every step of the way. Clare/Private was suckered in by the Snow People for a while, but don't forget Peg was at first too, and they don't fool her anymore. I trust them both, and if there's anything I've learned over the past day it's that we don't have any more time to second-guess people. Yeah, misplaced trust and all, it's a gamble, but trust doesn't come from logic.

Whatever the risks, we have to choose somebody, and we don't have long to do it. It's time we all had a little faith for once. Ask Peg who she would send and decide from there. Once that's planned, find Ruthie or another Hoskins, THEN let the team retrieve the staves, THEN reserve the book. Please, nobody forget the order this must be done in.

I think Clare is too weak. She's the kind to run from what she's scared of, not stand up for what she believes in - even when others came out of the woods to show they were hearing the bells too, she wouldn't tell us who she was. She didn't trust us, so I don't see why we should trust her. More than anything I don't think she has the strength of character.

Peg is blinded by her own perspective - she might recommend Fred, but we all know he is incapable of controlling himself against the snowpeople.

I agree we need to know more about whether Lawrence is also under the influence of the Snow People.

 		I'm a little confused right now. According to Peg's blog, they went looking for NHT last night shortly after Clare got to Lawrence's house. That would have been about midnight, EST. Peg also checked this morning, and NHT was not home then either. NHT e-mailed a group of us at 3am. I'm thinking 3 possibilities:

1. She's hiding somewhere safe and hasn't disclosed her location to anyoned. Maybe that hotel Peg and Fred stayed at?

2. She's been possessed by the Snow People/killed by Ruthie and crew.

3. Someone's gained access to her e-mail. It is a library email account after all.

Let's hope it's number 1.

 		While I wouldn't put too much in the notion that we are dealing with unreliable narrators (as the choice of the Cask of Amontillado was from a player) but I can't help but think that the message from The Sorcerer is from Ruthie herself, trying to scare the others to stay indoors.

Not really much to go for why I think this, other than the fact that "SomeThing terrifying this wAY cOmes." is a variation of another Shakespeare line from Macbeth, from the witches no less, "By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes"

Someone was getting stay out of the snow emails before... Did we ever get to see where they were coming from? It's either related to that, or a very strange coincidence...

 		TY enaxor. That is too Crying or Very sad Peg blogged that she is ready "to torch" a Snow Creature & reckon Claire feels exactlly the same.

copystar, think you may be right. My first thought was such an amateur code meant a troll poster but that makes sense.

I can confirm it was a troll. I was the guy who got the stay out of the snow snails, and after admin around I found out a friend irl I told about the game and showed Pegs youtube account decided to mess with people, myself included.

Sorry, I thought he'd like it, but he's an ass.

Regardless! NHT... what is she planning? This makes it look like she expected this all along... its likely she's dead, but all this while tragic seems to have given Clare/Private new drive. I am gonna ask her to reserve and get the lady of the lake book, ok?

 		Alright, so I have been thinking about this like all night. I think we should send Lawrence. I would feel more inclined to send Clare but logic tells me the reason we can't send Peg is because she will be taking care of the family staffs, wouldn't that also be true of Clare? We don't really have time to waste as NHT said herself. I put my vote in with Lawrence, but we all have to agree, because we can't reserve the book under more than one name.

Good point. We need to contact Lawrence... email peg for his user data?

I will meet with Peg Harmon and the others today at five o'clock.  I will follow her directions and walk the Lower Spiral.  I will turn the Hoskins' staff over to you.  You shall do what you choose with the information.  Granting you all that, I beg you to allow me to see the markings on the staffs as well.  After that, I ask you to give me 12 hours to complete the rites of our Society.  This will still give you plenty of time to carry out your crusade before the New Moon at 3:46 pm.
