 		I emailed Peg earlier to tell her the book was reserved and Clare went to get it. I got an auto responder, but here are the last two emails.

We're back! Ruthie and Edward chased after us in Edward's car. Poor
Clare was left to hike it home! We drove all the way out Tempest Trail
until Route 222 and then ended up in Winthrop. I hyperventilated! I
swear! Oh my God it was wicked! Clare told us on the phone about an hour
ago that she was going home until we arrived. We just called her and
she's not answering the phone. Have you guys heard from her? Also, Molly
and Luke aren't here. Maybe they're together? Lawrence and I are going
to start taking photos and scanning everything now. There are marks on
all three staffs. I can't believe we did this!

Ok Lawrence and I are leaving the house right now to search for Clare!
You guys, the bells are still ringing and I swear it sounds like screaming
over across from here by the Snow Town General Store!

 		Haven't been a help to anyone, so haven't posted. Just watched the last events unfold live. Suggestions to burn the snowies didn't help.

Would it be a good idea to try to stop whomever is ringing those church bells? I tried asking around about the church but got no responses about it.

 		Ok - I shared the hidden message with Peg and was worried that there might be digging involved...in the winter!? Here's peg's response to that:

 		Upper Spiral
So, the codes on the staffs seem like they could be giving directions for how to get to the Upper Spiral:

To Harmon Hill
Tempest trail
Squall path of pines

The question is where is Harmon Hill? There are several different places in town where Harmons live. And could the pine cone that the Magician left in the bucket be referring to the path of pines? I don't know what a "squall path" is; a squall is a sudden increase in winds similar to what keeps happening each night before the snow people come out.

So with this knowledge, should they be trying to find their way to the Upper Spiral to see if the Magician was giving a clue, or staying away from there at all costs (based on what Louise Hoskins described in her diary)?

 		We should find out if there's any "Squall Path". It would fit, since pretty much every other landmark and street has a name related to wind.

Actually reading the notes now, it's becoming pretty clear why Ruthie ran off for the Upper Spiral. I'm not sure what to expect, but something new and urgent is likely to show itself tomorrow.

And yes, they should definitely go. Natasha wouldn't send Peg to her death.
