Hah! I'm thinking only people in UK got hard copy. Saved themselves a ton of expense and processing time for shipments abroad to US, etc.

Hello folks, the White Rabbit ARG I was following turned out to be boring/nothing, so I looked for something else and discovered this - seems interesting Smile

Tried to log into the intranet and failed miserably earlier... then discovered that it's down for maintenance today. Bah!

Incidentally, I've taken Zolpidem for insomnia and there's no way I'd want to take anything to enhance the effects...! It made me go quite insane, after I took it I would hallucinate. I woke my then-boyfriend up and tried to tell him that there were tree branches reaching in through the window to capture me, and then I attempted to climb into a huge hole in the wall that wasn't actually there. Confused

Are there copies of Jessica's "private" videos anywhere? I'd like to watch them but can't get into the intranet to access them. Hopefully they will still be there after maintenance!

EDIT :: Heh, just noticed that "Naomi Walter" ( http://www.uksri.org/public/pdf/Appendix2.2.pdf ) has Crohn's Disease, as do I. I sympathise a lot of the answers to those questions - though really the fatigue, lack of concentration etc. that she mentions are a symptom of the disease as much as they are of any medication!

Hi all,

Looking forward to getting stuck into my first ARG.

As a small note, the order form contains an order for 'Ergoline', which is apparently used in LSD (linking back to the private video). Probably nothing much, but worth noting maybe?

I got the same email from Parcel Vault about the digital copy, and all.

I also received a reply back from Bell's Dock:

Quote:
Hi John,

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, at the moment the docks are undergoing a large structural overhaul - and are due to be closed throughout March. Public access is also recently forbidden within the docks and guided tours are not available currently. Thank you for your kind words regarding Bells Docks as it does have much history and character!

Regards,
Bell

Apparently I won't be getting a package from Parcelvault. Instead I got sent an E-mail letting me download a digital copy of everything that other people got.

I'm fine with this, because it lets me get further into the game! I'll poke around on it tonight when I have more time. I know other people have already beaten me in speed, but I'm excited anyway!

Any other news to report?

I wonder if there is anything extra and different with the physical vs the digital?

Bell Docks

Hey all - I sent this email to Bell Docks

Quote:

Visiting your website, it indicates to contact your organisation for directions. Also, I see you have stopped guided tours. Do you ever conduct tours for prospective clients? My research group is looking for a facility that can house our research vessel.

Thank you,

J. Stratton

Here is their reply - any suggestions on what vessel specs to give?

Hi,

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, at the moment the docks are undergoing a large structural overhaul - and are due to be closed throughout March. Guided tours for prospective clients may hopefully be available after the work is complete.

If you wish, please supply us with information regarding your research and your vessel so that we may put your request on file for the future.

Regards,
Bell

sent this email this morning

Dear Sir/Madam
I have stumbled across your website while searching for old docks, as i am doing a study on them,
And was wondering if your webcam will be up and running soon, as i would love to see what the site looks like, but is to far for me to travel as i have college through the week and have to work weekends to pay bills (i bet you know what its like) and would have to take a couple of days off to get there and back just for half an hour look around.

thank you now for any help
Edmund Thorne.

and have just got this reply

Hi Edmund,

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, at the moment the web cam is currently unavailable, we do have an engineer coming late next week to have a look at getting them up and running again. I will keep your request on file and try and alert you when the web cams are available again.

Regards,
Bell

A key difference at first glance is a more complete list of the document that had places and dates (which in the previous upload had part of the dates cut off) as well as the full invoice.

I've uploaded the new versions of these files to the wiki here http://blackhelix.wikibruce.com/Parcel_Vault_parcel#Digital_Parcel_Vault
