Is it bad that I felt deep seething hate for Isaac after 39 seconds? I mean the whole *pause* *excessive sucking of air* *overdramatic slicking hair* 'look how cool I am' thing? As a Brit* I don't often use the word 'douche' but it completely applies here. Of course it could just be the character and he's a good actor.

if only every other aspect of this series was as great as their Slender Man, this would be completely epic. Because honestly, that was probably the creepiest version of Slendy I have seen in some time.

Now that they have effects covered, maybe they should work on that whole "plot" thing :/

Jump scare without the jump? Kinda saw it coming but they did it well. Slendy looks better than he did in previous videos. Still not a big fan of them and don't think that will change.

Just caught up with this, and I'll admit some of the slendy sightings do give me a chill (especially that the latest video was very nicely done), but its a mixed bag here. I find a lot of the videos dull and I wanted to just skip the video, but forced myself to watch it. Its been said before, but I find myself not really giving a crap about the story or characters at all, and slendy sightings are like the highlight of every video that has it in there.

I also don't really like how its obvious which videos will feature slenderman, and which ones are build up. Episode #8, for example, could've been really cool if they did the story and timing a bit better. I mean what, slendy is leaving nice little notes now? I think when notes are going to be introduced into a vlog series, it needs to be more vague as to who left the note. Was it slendy followers? TTA type character? Observer? Either way, the fact that they allude to slenderman being able to write just makes it seem more human, in turn making it less scary.

Still a bit confusing, but I think they realized that (which is a good thing), and made a whos who. Maybe not the best way to do it, but it does help a little. Personally, I would've maybe made that account be more of a side story to the main, maybe highlighting key people in the story a little better, not just a slide show literally saying "this is ____, and this is ____".

Yeah, I like the end of this video too. I knew the lights were going to come on to reveal Slendy, but I wasn't expecting how close and how tall he'd be.

But the buildup could have been 4 minutes shorter.

I haven't watched any of this series really except this newest video, but, while they were in the car, a Mountain Goats song was playing, so bonus points to them.

And the ending actually did make me jump.

I'm not gonna lie, I saw the 'Slender Man in front of the car when the lights come back on reveal' ending of their newest video coming, but it was well executed. Kudos to them.

Just catching up with these and I am on the fence about how good it will be long term. I won't go so far as to say it's terrible by any stretch. The characters are believable because we don't know much about them and they act like teenagers more than some of the other vlog's out there.

I am going to give this one a chance and see where it goes. The first Slendy reveal was creepy and the overall look has improved. I understand not liking something and everyone has a right to their own opinion, but I need to say this and I know this will draw the ire of some on here most likely, but it still needs to be said.

It's hard to accept a negative opinion of a slendy story by someone who's avatar is of another slendy story. People are going to draw lines between dots even if the numbers aren't right, if anyone gets what I'm saying. I've said it before and I will say it again, all of these stories are "ripping off" an idea created elsewhere. None of them are totally original. I enjoy each one for different reasons. As long as the PM's are not breaking the UF rules (which these guys have not so far to the best of my knowledge), I give them a world of credit for putting themselves out there and taking a chance especially if they read these forums ahead of time. I'm noticing more and more are just out to put anything new down and yet those same people say how accepting they are.

that was well-said lookbehindyou, I've been on the fence with this series as well and they do seem to be improving (the slenderman at the end of the last video was top-notch creepy) and finding their own style.

I have never understood why some people feel the need to use their opinions like clubs in these threads lol it does nothing but make them look like asshats really. Awesome...yea cool you hate the series...why go into a related thread and berate ppl who do??

I was pretty bored and started watching them with nothing else to do, but I'll admit, they use the effects to maximize the horror aspect very well. If nothing else, its worth watching because of the slenderman sightings (even if they are a bit predictable at times).
