I thought the same thing, so I sent the following to them:
"Dear Whom It May Concern,
I was thinking of taking a trip on a boat throughout the different coast lines. I wanted to stop off at Belfast and was wondering how close is your dock to them. If you could send me some information about Bell's Dock, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time."

 		I've just scanned through the documents I was emailed.. All I've managed to gather is that Jessica (or her kidnapper) booked a flight for her to Belfast..
Browsing through the past couple pages, this is obviously old news.
So... what next? ._.

 		This may be a stupid question, but has anyone looked more into what "the symbol" as i keep seeing it referred to as by everyone actually means? The tattoo on the kidnapper I mean. Does anyone know what it is even? (I'd assume so but no one has mentioned it by name yet that I can see) On the assumption no one does though, it's a caduceus, originally from Greek mythology and only in the last hundred years or so used as a symbol of the American medical association.
I will link the wikipedia page for "caduceus" as it's easier than me explaining what it is.

I originally thought it was more medical based for the context of this game, but after seeing the same symbol on the accomplishment badge for finding the research site and all this business with Parcel Vault and Global Line Logistics and Bells Docks, I am starting to think maybe it's more to do with the Greeks version of a caduceus. Maybe it's nothing but given the games penchant for abstract links and clues so far there might be something there.

Also, does anyone else suspect based off Jessica's video log where she says something about Dr Robert Watt deliberately trying to slow down or sabotage her research that he may be more deeply involved in this than just being a colleague?

I don't know if it means anything, but I noticed one of these symbols at dock on www.globallinelogistics.com/tracker.html, once you zoom in onto the blue anchor. I think the symbol will help us connect those who are connected with Jess/game, as well as places that are connected to the Jess/game.
As far as Robert Watt, I'm not convinced that he is good or bad. He might of been trying to deter Jess from continuing her experiments because he knew what might happen if she didn't. However he could be one involved in the kidnapping of Jess, because she found out things that she shouldn't know.
I can't wait for more information to be unveiled.

 		Dunno if it's been mentioned before but perhaps Black Helix is the name of the organisation behind the kidnapping and whatnot... Could be wrong and its probably not important but anyway.

 		anybody notice that at the hidden base there is a submarine type vessel submerged underwater?

here's my take,
the org at that base rented out Bells Docks, they paid/bribed bells docks to freeze the cams at the exact time of the kidnapping of jess.

yes and yes, props to Agent Verne for identifying the wingless caduceus the 25:th of february, see page 3 of this thread. (then there is further discussion about the symbol in this thread and in my ingame blog, in general and in the context of this game. btw, my blog is reachable by clicking "the little house and www" button below my picture in this post or any post of mine. please, do drop in and drop a line! Wink )
did she SAY that he was trying to sabotage her research, or was she expressing surprisement of how unhelpful he was, concidering his great experience in the subject? I must go back and view the video again. but sure, he has been on the list of suspects from day one. now, when many of Jess meetings with him are visiable in her calender, more so. my theory since a week has been that she bailed out and took her research with her (in effect stealing from the company to prevent them from using or testing her research in unethical ways.)

this is an unwritten story, so what we do will make up the story.
i guess we react, react as we would in real life? and the pm's will play off what we do.
but this forum is off limits to pm's who doesn't want to p*** off the gamers (i think i remember a conflict around Junko Junsui with taking the ARG into the forums) so probably nothing we do here counts as something that can be included in the finished e-book. so far the pm's have a suspicious amount of emails to all involved companies (?), but since they up until now havn't given us opportunity interacting on a more personal level with carachters, how interseting can the finished e-book be?
like, who wouldn't like to be contacted ingame by Dave or Robert or the like? but to my knowledge, nothing so far. though Orangeekekat and some others have gotten mail that UKRI has reason to believe they know something about the kidnaping. but how would they know who we are, or that we are following this case? Dave might be able to track our activity trespassing in the intranet if he's an able computerist, and might contact ppl ?
(i write in my blog, but i don't want to be too easy to find for UKSRI so i write in Swedish when it's too detailedly connected to this case. nobody has commented there yet)
btw i'm very curious in how they will make this into a novel in the end.

okay, i did some google-fu with searchwords helix and mind control and found this article about satanic 'double helix' mind control method. the most eye catching:

Haha! They'd better hope that they don't have to send anything to me by post during the course of this ARG... the mail is so slow here that it'd probably by useless by the time I received it! And parcels go missing in the post all the time too... Confused

No, she doesn't SAY that he's trying to sabotage her, but in her public video logs she wouldn't would she? Incase he sees them, but despite this she's annoyed enough to say in Log_0784 that "Robert's advice is just not helping at all" and she is "so frustrated" she then says "you'd think someone with his experience wouldn't have wasted so much of my time" while looking more angry than just some misplaced advice from a well meaning colleague, especially one who went with her on her gap year to Uganda would warrant, he's mentioned all over her blog. She then goes on to say how she'd be better off doing what SHE wanted to in the first place, as if Robert's advice was deliberately to stop her from doing that in the first place.

I was actually thinking of that as well,
the "black helix" may refer to the rna strand thats on
one of the parcelvault pages..
maybe its a defective strand?

or..
the black helix may refer to the organization
referring to the symbol as a "helix" or
rather a "double helix"

 		Well, since this ARG is alot about nedical/biological stuff AND is called black helix... the double helix is usuallym also referred to as the DNA string.

 		So, yesterday I emailed Bell's Docks...

Today I got a mail back saying I should contact my shipping provider. So I sent almost exactly the same email to Global Line Logistics.


Their response:

I haven't had a reply yet.


Our thinking on the IRC channel is that we have the UKSRI invoice from the Parcelvault package. That has an official letterhead... plus a signature. So we were hoping that they would ask to see some documentation or authorisation that we could easily forge using that invoice as a template, and potentially gain access to the shipment.



Also, I was tempted to reply and ask if they could pass my details on to a real team rather than a fraudulent one, but I resisted the temptation to be obnoxious Wink
