That might be "Favorite Play" or in some other way involve Shakespeare then.

And just FYI... A good quote from The Tempest is...

"Oh what brave new world that hath such creatures in it!"

Which is said by Maranda (daughter of Prospero) after seeing a young man for the first time. (Because Dad's old and Calaban was deformed.)

Being a mild Shakespeare nerd, I would like to quote Miranda's little speech in its entirety that I agree, HitsHerMark, is a good quote:

O, wonder!
How many goodly creatures are there here!
How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,
That has such people in't!

Aldous Huxley's take on it was pretty cool too. Wink

... I'm still convinced that it's going to be a story question... (With the answer of The Tempest)

But I think there's also a possibility that at some point in the future, it could also have something to do with jokes...

There was a joke about a marine and a spartin I think in the operator monologues...

Yup, here it is:

Operator Monologues Phase 3 wrote:

All right. Old joke:

Marine: Damn right, I'm running away! There's two of us, alone, on foot, no weapons, and four hundred Covies on the other side of that hill. What are you going to do, tough guy--field-rig a railgun out of a rubber band and my dental fillings?

Spartan (speculatively): You have fillings...?

Mr. Green

A string of people were found dead today by payphones across the country. Each had been electrocuted severely.

In an odd twist, each one had some form of statement declaring loyalty to a one "Sleeping Princess". Police are baffled and warning citizens to be careful answering payphones. The FBI is now offering a reward for anyone with any information that could lead to the arrest and capture of the said "Sleeping Princess".

If you have any information, please call (777)635-4772.

"Stormy Weather" was the answer given to someone who answered the first live call of the day. Either she gave him this answer because no one had really thought of it, or else she is beginning to ease up because some people have already become registered crew. But if you get a recorded call, if you don't have the right answer, you won't unlock the axon or hear the correct answer. And usually Melissa says the call is not meant for you if you get it wrong.

Not just the first live call, the first call.
Whoever has the first call this week, be prepared, it may be live.

I agree. The Question will likely be about a favorite story. You better have a good story of your own ready to tell. One that would lead Mel back to rescuing the crew. Heads up....we're getting close to the 30day threshold. This game is nearing it's end. Let's do it right.

If Melissa wanted to be sneaky, she could just make the question: "What city is the Killer located in?"

Hmm, not a very comforting thought. I could plead the fifth, citing the following line of thought: "I've not conducted further reconnaissance of the transmissions from the Assassin. To my knowledge Melissa, she fled the vicinity of our reach, fearing your wrath. I didn't think of her location -or her capture- as mission critical any longer."

In any case, if fate (or pm's) decide this to be a live call, i'll see if i can divert Mel's attention away from the varied (and thus, endless) paths of vengeance.

Edit: 2'nd Train of thought:
LOL! Thanks Bean; as if i wasn't feeling nervous enough before your vote of confidence. Shocked [/joking] I do indeed sincerely hope that i'll be able to answer the question adequately. At least this time i'll know that i go into it with no definite concept of what the question will be. The last time (www.ilovebees.com/crew/Disappointments_1.wav) i was under a mistaken impression.
[Joking]*Picard Voice* Number one, set a course![/Joke] Sorry, just had to do it after reading the First Mate thing. Laughing

Thank you for all the kind words everyone; it's about time for me to set out. *Ensign Justin Salutes, and wishes for success in his mission.

I was largely being facetious - I really, really doubt that will be "the question". It may be something she would bring up during a live call (in fact I see that as a very likely possibility) but as the question for recorded calls, no way.

As an aside I think you guys answering the phones are doing a fantastic job. I'm not in the right country to answer phones myself so all I can do is watch and listen, but it sounds like you're all having fun.

(Melissa would probably struggle to understand my kiwi accent anyway.) Wink

Probably moot at this point, but why are we gravitating towards The Tempest, instead of, say, The Oddysey, which gets referenced in virtually the same paragraph as Stormy Weather in the Operator Monologues.
