Also, the primary reason I love this theory is because it would imply that Slenderman has been stalking you this whole time, either invisibly or disguised as another guy, and you've never noticed. He could even be behind you right now.

Its the perfect disguise, in a way. To have no face, and let those that see you add one in in their mind.

I think there's some milage to this in Marble Hornets as a kind of symbolic thing. With the whole slender man idea, so much of its strength stems from the fact that it can take the place of so much unknown fear. That shadow on your curtain? The shifting shapes in the trees as the wind blows? The figure you thought you saw under that streetlight? Of course you're a rational type. Dismiss it. Nothing to see here.

But... once you know slendy, you see him everywhere. You know he's out there, and you know that wasn't just wind in the trees. You know better than to dismiss that shadow on the window.

The events that happened to Alex Kralie are a kind of literal version of this. Once Alex knew he was there, he couldn't escape. In the same way that many people (if the MH real life thread is anything to go by!) start to imagine how slendy might be behind every corner, Alex saw him everywhere too. Except in a frighteningly literal way!

Assuming Entry #12 is the film shoot in the park, I've taken the "What is he doing?" comment by the girl at the end (I've forgotten her name) to mean that no one except Alex (and the camera) could see the Operator.

I was rewatching the series the other day and I thought the EXACT same thing.
It seems like she would have made that comment when they notieced The Operator, but she says it when Alex starts going after him.
