I got the email revealing everyone's email addresses, but not the second one. Okay. I understand. James is a player (possibly. Who knows at this point?)

I don't have anything to add other than to express my outrage over the whole cc....I mean, I understand if someone new works on an ARG for the first time and does something stupid like tear open the curtain (although I don't understand it THAT much -- DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE!); however, EVERYONE should know email etiquette.

ETA: OooOOOOo at least now I have a huge emailing list for all my spam projects. Twisted Evil

You're right. He is doing it in batches. The email addresses on mine stop at L. It still doesn't excuse revealing some of the player's. It doesn't take a genius to figure out how to BCC.

And if it's something like, "Sorry guys. The Elephant is still learning how to use email" I will laugh.

Hah, I am near the end of the alphabet, so I got no one else's address. It does seem odd, though, with the rather high quality professional look of the videos that the e-mail distribution would be so lame and inappropriate. And the avowed premise of the game appeared to be improving the quality of life, rather than a horror/stalking motive...

Just curious, to anyone who got the full list of player e-mails - approximately how many names was that? Thanks.

I dunno. Yeah, I mean, it sucks to just come out and say "hey this is an ARG" but on the other hand now at least we know. It still could be fun.

The Posterous blog appears to be the beginning of a wiki. And I believe the majority of those who sign up surely realize it is some form of entertainment or game - not unlike an online installment film - even if they've never heard of ARG's per se. Didn't most of us first hear of it here on unforum?

Actually, though... wouldn't it be way cool if it *was* a personalized or customized life-improvement system? Laughing
