Actually, VERY good find - as the article tells us that the iTunes Trailer site has been updated with the hi-res trailer, downloadable. It will now be much easier to frame through and analyze.

Lillian exact location response Lillian is located at the intersection of either Preble County Line and Engle Road or more likely Sulpher Springs and Old Dayton Rd based on that map. I grew up in that area and worked for ODOT. I can also attest there is no "town" at either of those locations just farms.

I have to disagree about the handwriting on the map. I think the point of the map is to show that the dogs left Lillian and were found in surrounding areas. There are no dots in Lillian.
That, plus the line in the trailer about them receiving calls about local dogs found in areas that were "not local," leads me to think this map shows where and when the dogs were found.
Also, notice that the handwriting on the map is different. At least 3 different people wrote on it. Probably nothing, but nice attention to detail.

I agree that it looks like when the dogs were found. They're using 24-hour clock times.
Here's a clip to relieve anyone's concerns about the fate of Lucy Lamb, who apparently was found at 13:30 6/22/79 near Brookville.
Here's another that caught my eye - looks like its name is Landon Weirton .

LOL! What Kraten? You like that Poppeteers with a twist ?
avr1991 - I couldn't read all the times and it looks like some of the names didn't have times. Just curious - why do you think June 10th for the crash date? I thought the movie was supposed to take place over a shorter time span - but who knows?

I think that the when found/missing was discussed on this page, with Headman and myself:

With some of the farther distances that can be seen written on the map, it seem s improbable that all of the dogs would be found at various distances from the location of Lillian. However, for all of the dogs to book out of Lillian on the same date seems more conceivable. I think the times were when on the 22nd they were reported missing.
Just my take...

Have to agree. The idea that all these dogs took off and were all found and called in on the same day doesn't seem logical. On the other hand, people missing their dog and calling it in on the same, the day after the train wrecks and the "whatsit" escapes sounds more probable. I'm going with:
June 21 - Train wreck in the middle of the night, "whatsit" escapes.
June 22 - Dogs take off and get reported missing.
After June 22 - Calls come in with found dogs - none local. With the vast number of dogs being reported, they start marking on a map, curious about what would make dogs take off, mark the date and time they went missing and find that they all took off on the same day, right after the train wreck. Something about the cargo to be concerned about? Something that drove the dogs off?

As I mentioned somewhere before--[there are REALLY too many threads]--dogs have not only good hearing, but their sense of smell is extraordinary, and perhaps the IT that escaped gave off some sound and/or scent that was VERY off-putting to the dogs and they split, fearing their safety.
I think it was mentioned earlier, but also with the names wrote on the map--I believe the first name represents the dog's name and the next name, the owner's last name.

@Rocket, Also in Lost, the day the plane crashed was the actual air date for the series. And JJ is usualy quite detailed, as in the trailer it said "June 10th... It Arives". But i could be wrong

Maybe we can find a date from the dog pics WHEN they disappeared.
Tried finding something here http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?mode=attach&id=24498
but the pic wasn't good enough to zoom in.

I get the whole- dog name, family name- date missing- time missing.
But the one that gets me is Far left, by Ind.pg 36.. I look at it and it says Max Fox 12:115 or 2:115 6/22/79.
What the heck is 115 in terms of time.
