redkore emailed me Monday offering a free trip. It came in the mail today. I'll follow up from the office later with details and a couple of scans.

The kit is basically six or seven cards, a square, and a security badge type holder. All the cards are printed on both sides with symbols and shapes.

Dude, mine came today too, complete with rip-rockin' lanyard! The cards and stuff are packed in a fancy static wrap. Should I put my tinfoil hat on before I open it?

Hey! Is that THE pawn?

Anyway, what on earth do you all think is going on here?

And BTW Spacely, how did you know which side of the cards was the front and which the back?

I must say, I'm totally perplexed by this, and am very curious.

Yea, it is indeed THE pawn. For perspective. Very Happy

Well, I laid 'em down one way, took a pic, then flipped 'em over. Wink Actually in the top row, the middle one is reversed from the other two in each pic. Those three were the 'wafers' and are all the same. I did lay them down originally with the face up that was to the front of the little plastic case they came in. It's probably completely arbitrary of me, though. Razz

Man.... this just keeps getting better and better? Or is that "more and more bizarre"?

Has anyone tasted the wafers yet? How do they compare to say, a Thin Mint?

Gotta admit - I'm interested in what comes from it.

It has a nice "Andromeda Strain"ish feel to it, for some reason. Neat and orderly. Well conceived. Could this be the next game from the team Noah Boddy?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

INFO: Card Case

According to the USPTO, the plastic case that the trip cards come in is designed to hold PCMCIA cards (and expansion card type generally used for laptop computers. This likely has no bearing on anything, but I'm boxing shadows at this point and I went to all the trouble to find it (read: 30 seconds of surfing), so I just had to post it. Razz
