He's never stolen the name Operator. We've been calling him the Gro�emann, after what Grampa Karl called him.

Grandpa Karl knew there was something wrong with Noah; he called it "bad energy". Maybe his close encounter of Der Gro�mann kind gave him some kind of SlendySense? Could he have actually gained something from Slendy back then? If so, what became of the other men in his OSS squad that witnessed what happened?

If Noah ever gets his brain back, he needs to go talk to Karl again. This time preferably with someone who knows German.

Side note: Sometimes eyeglasses are used as a disguise. Could the glasses in COMECLOSER indicate that the Observer is in plain view, only Noah doesn't realize it?
