This is true. It seems a waste of dramatic potential to use this as a literal guide for the rest of the plot. And considering that it seems like the "cycle" has already repeated itself once with the Corenthal children, perhaps there's something they did wrong (or didn't do right) that we can 'fix'.

 		Okay, well, it may be irrelevant to this cycle, but we need to know a few things just for the sake of them:

- How did Fairmount Vincent betray his friends as the Voyeur?
- How did Fairmount Jeffrey lose his heart (Jessa in our time) and then his blood?
- How did Fairmount Evan act impulsively in the face of danger?
- Why is there NO MENTION OF STEPHANIE IN HERE?

 		I agree qaqa. There HAS to be a way to stop it, and I'm thinking almost that the story in the book itself might help. I will think about this some more after some much needed rest to return to theories/spec galore I'm certain Wink

This has been a truly emotional day though, and the adrenaline I felt when approaching that chest was something. I was nervous, scared, and thinking the rake was gonna eat me for sure.

My friend was actually disappointed when nothing went down other than finding the chest at first, but after opening it and bringing it back home, we were like kids in a candy store. Awesome experience. I just wish I had good news instead of the sadness tand to some degree near hopelessness that the chest truly contained.

 		Here's something I just thought of. What if WE are the way to stop the cycle? There never was an internet, or knowledge base this large before in history with the ability to collaborate in the way we can, so of course, things happened the same way in the past. Maybe I'm overtired, but that was my thought. Again, the question is now HOW do we help them?

shows up. Hmm... it was assumed this refers back to HABIT and the Rake, yes? ... a tragic hero... uh. Suddenly I wonder if what HABIT is trying to do is break the cycle.

Steph's card is blacked out. A few pages back I speculated that she may be next. In the ARK video Steph is not present either.

Cool, not the only one with that thought then. I never said he was being heroic. I'm just thinking of the definition and how it could fit him. Hm.

Quick question before I read through the previous pages of this thread (sorry if it's been asked before) - are you sure it's "Lyn" on the top and not "Lin" or "Linnie"? It's just, the only time I've seen the name spelled that way around here is when I'm referencing myself, and it's kind of freaking me out a little to ponder the implications of my name being on this thing.

...God, I sound so self-centered *slaps self* I'm not trying to be, honest, I'm just kind of paranoid o___o There is probably some really obvious explanation for this that I'm missing D8

 		Calling it right now, we're going to get the final Corenthal paper as some sort of endgame statement.

Also, i'm think that Firebrand=Evan, Guardian=Jeff, Voyeur=Vince, Heart=Jessa, and Blood=Alex is spot on.

Nice job getting everything out so quickly lby!
