 		If someone did decide to go through a Slender Man related film with a somewhat big budget, they aught to pitch their idea to that Kickstarter website; I've pitched one of my films there (Not yet made it public, figuring out this Amazon shit), and it's a pretty cool website.

Best of luck to you on your script, I certainly look forward to seeing the sample you come up with. I do agree to avoid getting much of a hollywood feel to the story. Blair Witch is definitely something to draw inspiration from, though you already have the type of mythology they created behind the story already, which is a strong plus.

The one issue I can see that would come out of this is if trying to get a production company to back the idea to get a big release they would probably have issues with the idea. After all, since there hasn't been an established way to kill or avoid Slenderman the movie's probably not gonna end in a happy, wrapped-up ending that Hollywood likes so much.

Would certainly throw people through a loop since it's not something they see too often though!
