The marks on the floor are indeed interesting, probably coincidental, since it's a storage unit. But it did have a tree-like thing going. It was the place the rocking-chair was...
It also looks like there are hands... like multiple white hands. At one point on Slenderman... I don't know if I'm imagining things, I keep getting too distracted by Vinnie's reaction to remember to pay attention.
And... Corenthal... I just... That is the part that's taking my speech. Evan DID sum it up: WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT.

I think maybe it was a tape recorder... Too small for a video camera. But imagine recordings! And the photos in the notebook... Could they four possibly be in them? Also, the box with the weapons, the knife specifically. Was it HABIT's? The rocking chair I remember being mentioned, yes. And the box of photos, Fairmount Evan/HABIT's photos!
As for the rounds/ Fairmount Jeff's connection... You guys don't think Corenthal... killed them? A mercy killing?
EDIT: Wait, didn't Alex bury a round for his first Trial?

I doubt Jeff saw my post about this film in the OT thread but it's amusing since it's like The Stone Tape, a British ghost picture. A place replays a moment in time again and again, perhaps with a trigger. But I don't think it's quite the same here; I think the guys were the trigger and Slendy sent them back and could show them anything he wanted.

But why Vinnie?

Also:

We need a screenshot of that map and the markers on it. We also need a shot of the "class picture" in Corenthal's files which appeared to have red markings on it. And we need them to go over all that shit with a fine-toothed comb, which I'm sure they're doing.

But first we need to know about the tape/not-a-radio thingy. That thing is most important.

And also very important: Who paid that facility off for twenty five years? Did Corenthal do it up front, and if so why? Or did someone else keep up payments?

This was another quantum shift for the game and for the limits of Slendyvlogs in general. Like DH's last update and EMH and MH and TT many times before, EMH has once again done what I thought a vlog could not pull off on their time and budget. Bravo.

Finally, and crucial: Dr. Corenthal is hot.

The pattern on the floor is vaguely tree-like, with the "branches" on one side short and very close together and the branches on the other side long and farther apart. The laziest screencap, sorry for quality. It might, of course, be unrelated.

i think what corenthal meant by failing them was that he couldn't "break the HABIT" or "break the cycle".

About why Vinnie, technically Vinnie was closest to Slenderman. He wasn't as fucked up when Corenthal (CORENTHAL, PEOPLE!) showed up, just confused as shit.
The tree markings might be coincidental but they did chose that spot to get filmed a lot, so a happy accident at least.
