 		Voting & Discussion for "The Long Shadow Home"
This is where you make the decisions.
Welcome everyone to the sister topic of "The Long Shadow Home". This is a CYOA, one where you are the protagonist and you make all the decisions.

This topic will be where you decide what paths Jack takes. Everyone can vote on which decision to make and whatever option gets the most votes will be what happens. However you are not limited to what I give you. If you can think of something else than pose that as an option and people can vote on that if they want.

This topic will also be the place to discuss the story in general and criticize me. Please do not post anything in the other topic. I'd like to keep it as just story.

Now as a little side note the story will have a bit of a slow start. Don't expect any big explosions just yet.

Let us begin. In the next post I will...post the first decision everyone gets to vote on.

 		You think about what to do now that you are home with your son Paul.

A- Tell Paul to do his homework.

B- Ask Paul if he wants lunch.

C- See if Paul wants to go to the park and play catch.

D- Ask Paul if he wants to play a video game with you.

E- Just sit down and watch the ball game. Let Paul do what he wants.

F- Clean up your place. Do the dishes, put your clothes away and take out the trash.

G- Other

 		I really like the beginning. Well-written, and definitely has some good characterization.

 		Could be wrong, but I don't think a CYOA counts as an ARG. It's not pretending to be real on any level, which is one of the key elements of an ARG in my opinion.

I agree, but while it's not an ARG, I think it's still kinda fun.

Also, on a separate note, maybe you should make a poll so it's easier to keep track of the votes.

Also, I thought about using a poll, but this way people voice their opinions more and provide reasons for why they are picking something that might make other people think. I think that's better than just clicking a button. Won't update for a while BTW. In class now until tonight so the earliest update will be late tonight and the latest should be tomorrow night. Also I'd rather more people vote. The more the merrier although I am happy to see this get as much attention as it has already.
