 		Personally I would be reeeal careful about contacting her, seeing how she doesn't seem to be dealing with criticism well at the moment. Maybe someone who knows her better should pass her links or numbers for suitable support/counselling services.

 		Hey, I've never posted here before but I'm one of the bloggers who got "outed". A few of the other bloggers and I are trying to get in contact with Shelby's IRL friends and/or family, just in case she's actually suffering from paranoid delusions or something.

*ahem* So far, we've looked through Facebook, Bebo, Myspace, and Xanga, with no luck. We do have her email, and we're trying to see if she has an account on social network, other than Tumblr. I checked the latter two and we checked Facebook, and are currently trying to figure out what we have left and if she has another email without directly contacting her.

 		Okay, I can see that you guys are concerned for this chick's wellbeing, but I think you're taking it a little too far. Hunting down her facebook and stuff like that is a little extreme. Yes, she posted her stuff on the internet but at least give the girl some privacy. We have no idea who she is IRL, so the whole thing could have just been a (very convincing) act.

Ya'll just need to calm down and wait a while to see what happens. Hunting down her social network profiles and whatever is a little crazy, and you guys need to step back. This is a young kid, I'm assuming, and you could just be scaring her.

 		If you're going to do anything (which I don't think you should), get in touch with Google. They run Blogger, they have her ISP/contact info on file. They would have an incentive to route a message through the ISP to the local police, or this girl's parents, whatever needs be done.

 		Yeah, to be fair I'm not 100% convinced those cuts weren't faked somehow. They look like, at most, light scratches, so they could be skillfully-applied makeup.

They could also have been made with the point of a pin, which could be considered negligible damage by someone who wanted to gain attention. That's what my first thought was when I saw that picture at least: "safety pin!"

I've done similar damage with a pin; its not undo-able, and it heals quickly. In my experience, anyway.

So yeah, kids, leave her alone.
