Well, JJ took out Thin's 5 guys outside. So he must have got inside and found Jan. What I am guessing is they threatened to kill Jan, and James gave up his life for his daughter.

My guess is that JJ never knew what was coming. Like bullet to the back of his head or something. Something he obviously wasn't prepared for. I doubt Thin called him up and said "I'm a gangster and I have your daughter, so be prepared"...

EDIT: Good catch, Astald... didn't make that connection about the five guys. You're probably right then.

Surely true, but some people might not want to know about such a startling plot development until they hear it for themselves. Or, possibly, not until all or most of the clips are unlocked and they can hear the whole story in order. I certainly wish I'd heard more of Jan's clips before I heard torturing_jan.

Spoiler tags just let people decide for themselves whether they want to read about something. I think it's only polite -- to avoid possibly ruining something for someone who might not want it ruined. Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

(Sorry for shouting, by the way.)

I could be wrong but I don't think he went alone..

This is driving me to distraction, I want it to be untrue, that it is just a mistake. However I think it was foreshadowed when he said he was "all to human" and just recently when Jan called him "daddy" in love_me_yet.

You know what Astald? Re-listening to five_guys.wav, I get a bad feeling that "this guy" who "fell on a couple bullets" was JJ and that "this girl" is Jan... that doesn't bode well for Jan at all (maybe just unconscious?)

It sounds to me like this clip is Thin's people coming to clean up JJ (and Jan?) after the hit. And that the 5 guys are dead because Durga called Gilly and she took them all out...

 		I agree with you shad0. I'm at work and can't exactly listen to all the files so I usually listen to all the files when I get home. Though I don't mind seeing a few spoilers while lurking the forums, I think it would be good to at least label the major spoilers. Very Happy Thanks.

If you are right MeKiwi it would have to come after love_me_yet, they say the perimeter alarm went off and daddy is coming to pick Jan up. But Thin does sound panicked in five_guys, and not so much in love_me_yet.

I agree, although I think it could be someone/something even more severe than Gilly (not that Gilly wouldn't be enough, but there's at least one more SPARTAN-1 out there *cough*Gladys*cough*... I mean, with respect to foreshadowing, Durga says that "you want nothing left of your enemy but a skull nailed to a fencepost" right before she says she's going to "do better" than to call the police on Thin. Durga is really going to take the gloves off, and she won't show even an ounce of the restraint she used on the IRS auditor... *shudder*
