It's a similar shot, but it's not the same. The dots in this video are the embers of the birthday candles, the dots in Sidetone are... headlights perhaps?

Glad to see that the Slender series are starting to go back to the original mythos, where Slendy chased children. I don't actually think I've seen that in a Slendy series, besides the very few mentions of Milo being stalked as a kid in TT.

i think i'm more creeped out that it's called "enttry 37" than by the actual video.

i guess this means that his birthday has some actual significance somehow. i wonder if entry 2 or entry 5 were his birthday as well?

and we should we wondering who posted this. jay hasn't talked about getting his password back or anything, or even mentioned that he posted 37. would this really be in the tapes he got from the hotel? i find that unlikely.

though "enttry" is spelled like he's been spelling things lately...

Honestly, I was really unimpressed by this, especially after all the hype and anticipation. What did we really learn? Slender Man had been stalking Alex since he was kid? I figured that was the case, anyway, considering the nature of the Slender Man. And then we get some random cryptic dates out of order when Slendy shows up.

I was expecting this entry to be a big game-charger and a high point in the series. Instead, we get something that confirms something that seemed pretty logical anyway, that I'm sure most people probably thought of at one point anyway. Not trying to hate, but this practically seemed like filler to me.

OT: Thankfully, Andersen Journals really brought it tonight.

I shat brix, guys, fucking BRICKS. And then I realized the timestamp was changing and shat some more. This is insane! So now we definitely know that the part of the Slendermythos that talks about him stalking children is canon in Marble Hornets too (unless whoever put together and uploaded the video, on the far-off chance, is just fucking with us -- just puttin' that out there). It also strongly suggests that the theories that say the only reason the Operator was stalking the MH crew was because they incidentally caught him on film. Alex was the instigating factor. Cameras still appear to play a part, as they always have, but they weren't the cause of the stalkings.

I also thought the kid in the first section looked a little like Jay -- but it does look like the same kid as during the song, sooo probably not. Was I the only one on the edge of my seat throughout the Happy Birthday song, waiting to find out what the kid's name was? XD Ugrh.

As for the dates... they have got to mean something and oh MAN I want to tear into that shit but I'll leave it for those of you who don't have school breathing down your neck. :c Try putting them in chronological order, maybe? See if there's some sort of number games there, or if the specific timeline as seen whole brings to mind anything else?

Little theory that I think would be funny: totheark hacks Jay's account (we know he can!), changes the password and leaves it so that Jay craps himself over his apparent inability to log into his youtube, and goes to bed. Totheark logs back in, uploads a video, changes the password back and leaves it... all just to fuck with Jay. Oh TTA, you scamp!

I think it is more likely that TTA or whoever hijacked the MarbleHornets account posted this than Jay. The way the operator symbol flashes on Alex's face seems more like some creepy thing edited in than something caused by Operator distortion. Although, the similarity between "enttry #37" and "sllee pno.w" supports that it was Jay, still with a bad headache, TTA might just be mocking Jay's condition. Or maybe, Jay is TTA! Probably not though.
