your instincts about the North County Times is a good one -- that article (under "About") is hosted on the exact same IP as the dating site, hrmm... The phone number is indeed a Los Angeles area exchange -- but a google search turned up some odd hits in Pennsylvania, hrmm...

~~I found a testimonial...~~ The testimonial on the website leads to their channel, recently created, but with only the one video.

Well their search doesn't work well: I'm searching within 25 miles of downtown Miami (yes, that does include the OCEAN) and I'm getting results in Portland and Maine. Rolling Eyes

and the root of http://www.nc-times.com/ redirects to http://www.nctimes.com/

not hard anyway. Just set up the one page, even have it scrape the real website to show the latest content, make sure all urls and images point to the real domain, and you've got a fake real news report Smile
