 		I'm about to shoot out to Uni and haven't had time to read all the posts yet, but here's a thought that's occurred to me (apologies if it's already been said)...

This appears to confirm that Alex has been stalked by SM since he was a child. If that's the case, he would presumably have known all about SM when he started filming Marble Hornets. However, the way Jay described it and what the videos show at the start of the series make it look like Alex had no idea what was going on.

This, coupled with the fact that Alex gave the videos to Jay to burn rather than burning them himself... anyone think that maybe the entire thing has all been a sort of trap laid by Alex for Jay?

Sorry, probably seems like a bit of a speculative jump but I don't have time to type all the reasoning down right now.

Yes. I brought it up to my friend and she agrees. And was trying not to think about it.

I on the other hand, having Slendernoia, have to think about it. Constantly.

 		Ok, so if Slenderman was after Alex since his childhood, why is it in RECENT YEARS that J and the Hornets crew noticed paranormal behavior within him?

I'm thinking that Alex's memory is wiped clean of Slender incidents annually to control public diffusion of their "relationship". Then again, I haven't checked for any uploads on the same month, other than the 4/4/2010 tape that was sent to Jay before Season 1 ended.

Au contraire. Something to note is that the original meaning of the project's name was never fully explained. Jay speculated, but we were never given a coherent answer.

Furthermore, I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but two things of note are that:

A: The way this entire video has been built up and presented, it might not have been Jay (or at least not Jay in sound mind) posting it. I, personally, feel this is much more TTA-ish.

B: The Operator never physically appears in the films. He seems, to me, much more like an aftereffect. (As opposed to the "original" tapes when he was just in the background.) The Operator symbol implies something, but I'm a bit reluctant to jump at the obvious.

Of course, this may just be due to OOG skill evolutions, but even in some of the earlier season 2 entries, the Operator was there physically, rather than as some sort of overlay alone (cross-dimensional stalking, anyone?).


I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, so forgive me if it's already been said. The letter "X" is usually used to cross something out, or to cover something up, as if it were a mistake. A circle COULD be a face in this case, in one of the TTA videos, the one with the stop-motion animation, at first there's an operator symbol. Later, there are more operator symbols. In the entry where Alex is in the park(It's been a while since I watched the earlier vids), either slenderman is teleporting, or there are multiple slender men. The operator symbol over Alex' face COULD symbolize that SM has been trying to slenderize him from afar, but eventually, Alex' camera caught him on tape. Maybe Masky is just a half-way mark for becoming a Slendy? Alot of speculation here, and it's probably already been said at one point, but still.

 		Not sure if this was already covered, so forgive me for troutig, but has anyone considered that if one of the kids in the tape is Jay, wouldn't thatm ean that Jay and Alex met before college, where Jay claims they met?

Maybe the tape is Jay's memory, rather than Alex's.

 		Honestly, I think we are seeing Alex in the wrong light.

Assuming Slendy is in fact a time travel capable being, why is he bothering Alex, present and past? Why is it that Alex is the only one associated with the Operator symbol? I am beginning to think that Alex is actually the antagonist, thus making Slendy the protagonist.

Let me attempt to explain (so very tired). The symbol is only ever seen when Alex is around or has been around. This latest entry implies this. Alex may do something in the future and Slendy is actually a time cop of sorts (possibly a worker of a hidden mystical power). Maybe Alex is the Operator (which has several interesting definitions [http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/operator]) and he has/is going to do something bad. Tim is aware of this somehow and wants to stop it. Tim may also think Jay is inadvertently helping Alex. OR Alex is controlling all of this for some maniacal plan.

I apologize if this makes very little sense, as I had stated earlier, I am so very tired.

EDIT: Another idea I had: Slendy is a "family-curse" type dealy. Or the cameraman (his father?) knew something involving the suited man based on the tone in his voice during the birthday song.

Continue to what though. To the Ark. Alex is the Ark but maybe not with initials other than coincidence, or just a joke to himself. What is the Ark I cannot even come of with a messed up explanation other than possibly the vessel which slenderman comes in. Though that is mainly meaning Slenderman needs someone to find him victims that either acts of their own will or as a puppet for slenderman.

That should mean there is or has been other Arks. Brian is a nice character but where is he. Why would Slenderman use him. He was connected to alot of people actually, almost the whole MH crew. Maybe he initially tried to offer up Tim but Tim caught on and dealt with him or Slenderman didn't like the repelling of Tim or that Tim proved too hard to catch. So Slenderman chose a new Ark, Alex another victim Brian tried to offer as their friendship grew up. Alex who was the next best thing to Brian, being the one in charge of the production.

This would explain why Tim passes Jay up and attacks Alex. And also why Alex REALLY wants to kill Tim. Possibly even the memory loss of Jay. The shock of realizing what Alex has actually been doing was so traumatic to Jays psyche that his mind refused to believe it. He couldn't believe it after what they possibly(yet to be revealed if any or to what extent) they went through. So his mind basically reset to the last time Jay saw Alex as a friend in need, instead of the demented tool of slenderman.

Basically I just thought all that up on the thought lingering in my mind that Alex was working with slenderman, and Tim was helping Jay no matter how violently he seemed to do it. And the realization that I am not the only one with that thought in their head. If you think about it that could be it. Althought the way things are presented we won't know for fact until its explicitly said in an entry or oog by the makers.

Wall of text yes. Possible ramblings yes. Good theory...you decide.


No one said boo to it then still ramblings. Still a wall a text. Now it has some possible backing of why.

So J and TTA are probably together now... but is TTA the one who made him sllep, or the one trying to wvke him? Hmm.
