ddl, I added a bunch more guesses on Flickr in thread under video for luggage tag 3 adding to your recent discussion with whiterabbit re images in vid.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Reason I chose Newfoundland as one option for place btw is because dog holding rabbit in its mouth is painted by Edwin Henry Landseer. That type of newfoundland, white with black spots, is named after the painter - a landseer newfoundland.

Another big email hint from Shelley that I am to share:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Shelley,

Apologies for the rash of incomplete answers, it was late and I was getting ahead of myself.

Are you able to further explain this comment please?:

@DarkenendDL

As we go: idem-NO. (4x3x2x1) - 1 = 23 to go... Wink mix it up,look for the tags& names - you'll KNOW when you find it [hopefully]

Is idem the missing word from the "how?" puzzle? Is there an anagram?

Sincerely,
-string-

IDEM = "the same"
The tag states NOT the same.
This implies that this is not the answer.
With 4 letters, there are 4x3x2x1=24 combinations of arrangements.

IDEM is one such combination
24-1 = 23

There are 23 left to examine...

Yes, an anagram, but not literally an anagram [MEDI] So 24-2 now...

The clues are there to find and confirm - 'how' implies a process, a grouping of something...
In our responding to this though, the price is that you are required to share this with everyone...

F.F.E.Y.-T.

FFEYT's most recent Tweets:
Quote:

For ?What - we give you 'the degrees of excitement are three' and thus leave this trial at the University at 1:31 on Friday.

Timewise, most is solved now and it is merely numbers now which remain to be found.Photos of a man, a man who we know?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

March 25, 1811 – Percy Bysshe Shelley was expelled from the UNIVERSITY of Oxford for publishing the pamphlet The Necessity of Atheism. - Expulsion - like unto a TRIAL for heresy.
"The degrees of excitement are three." - a line from this pamphlet
Tomorrow-Friday is March 25. There's been a strong theme of religious belief and disbelief in this chapter.

I've Tweeted the above info to FFEYT. The only bit I couldn't quite work out was the time he mentioned (1:31) - not found in references to the above. However, OUR Shelley is quite enamored of '131' and variations thereon, so I'm thinking those digits have an overarching significance in our total adventure/campaign.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Ozymandias - Percy Bysshe Shelley - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdHSnDabBEE - with scenes of warfare. Possible tie-in with the original FFEYT's WWII experiences.

As far as I can make out, the latin next to the wax mark on the Occulta Philosophia goes something like this:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If these things are true, the dying souls must, sometimes lying hid in their bodies, be oppressed with vehement extasies [ecstasies], and be freed from all bodily action: So that the life, sense, motion, forsake the body, and so, that the man is not yet truly dead, but lies astonied [dazed], and as it were dead for a certain time.

About to set to on What? !

All right. Here are the e-mails between me and Shelley about Tag 1. Please note that only the first e-mail chain(up to "--- On Wed, 3/23/11, Forest frederic edward Yeo-thomas <forestfredericedwardyeothomas> wrote:") has the correct answers. The other e-mail and reply are added because of what Shelley wrote in the brackets underneath his name...
I am assuming it is related to the large plot of the game.

Technically, I am unsure of which ?how answer was the right one, but I am assuming it was the second one about healing the sick. Could be wrong, but both are accurate. I would recommend that everyone look at the links that I reference in the e-mails, as they hold more information that what was said in the e-mail.

Also, I find it amusing how I unintentionally stumbled upon something a few days ago.

Myself wrote:

http://tinyurl.com/28kvgfe --- "I'm gonna give all my secrets away" The prizes can go to whomever. Let us close this chapter however. #FFEYT

Shelley wrote:
"I'm sick of all the insincere" - with wax? Ah, magic and science - how they combine, how they work; a round table and a vision

Our range of vision is increasing. I have more I would like to say, but I believe it is best that I wait until this chapter is completed before I say anything about my theories.

I may be being dumb. But what does this mean?

WhiteRabbit2011 (26 hours ago | reply)

We note now that one of the two 'what's is now lost to the ravages of internet time...
This will be explained to he or she who informs us of what the man is looking at in the picture you are directed to first in google... [and then everyone else as well]

What is the "what?" he is referring to? I can't find another what in my notes or teh answers...

Nutley- go to the website mentioned a few pages back and enter 1818 in the text box at the bottom. You'll see how it works out.

42 minutes to go... then 23,16,15,8,4-We fly over the waters, take a bus then rest in the lodge. We rest until Sunday evening...Email answers.

I'm thinking the 'minutes' are another coded message to us. Just playing with these numbers, I tried subtracting them as a series, which gave '197174' -
perhaps a date? 1971 7 4 could work out to July 4, 1971 but that didn't Google up anything seemingly significant to our specific puzzle...

Maybe just chasing the wrong hare here. Ours seems to have slipped into a hole for the weekend.
