Kotaku also saw the clip and they say how one of the names they've reffered to what's in the train car is Cooper. Hmm wonder if it has anything to do with captain Cooper.

Nah, that's just the nickname J.J. gave to the alien monster/creature/thing in Super 8, just like how the Cloverfield monster was nicknamed "Clover."

Though obviously they probably connected everything by just using the same name in the viral as they used for the nickname of the monster.

Or maybe (getting totally theoretical here) there's some crazy idea that Captain Cooper went into space, contracted some space disease, and returned as this malevolent force they had to keep boxed up at Area 51 until they put him on a train. Who knows? Razz

 		Buddha that's actually what I was thinking. He went into space and got maybe contaminated (or maybe even mutated) by something and is now being transported.
