1. A (Both can be dangerous as an actual oxcart could tip over, your ox becomes spooked etc..)

2. A (A Captain Coop comic book would be cool as well so this is debatable to me. Watching a cube move on its own could very well be pants crapping terror inducing opposed to the coolest thing ever)

3. A (I like to think it shows an eagerness to learn. Plus, the other answers seem rather cynical)

4. A (Hope it shows I have knowledge of electronics which would come in handy on a space mission Razz )

5. C (two soda cans probably wouldn't, but two plants could)

6. C (I would hope my friend would do the right thing instead of me just snitching)

7. B (the woods seem like a better place if you're hiding from secret government agencies or the like)

8. A (again, the woods seem more appropriate considering the other answers would only delay someone finding the object for a few minutes)

9. C (just feels right Very Happy )

10. B (sadly, I was not a part of the original mailing and couldn't find a definitive answer so I just picked at random)

can i ask how you guys came about to 5 and 6 being c?

i was peeking at another thread and someone asserted that computers are inanimate objects that always communicate/talk.

as for #6, wouldn't A go better with the whole "top secret" theme? also, in the trailer Joe (if that's his name) has the vitas relic/cube...im assuming he stole it (that or he found it at the wreck site). either way, he technically stole it, since it WAS property of the USAF. from the point of view of Elle Fanning's character...she let him off easy/conspired in the theft.

also just thought of this...would the "name change" selection work for the "hiding yourself" question? maybe one of the characters we've been dealing with in the game changed their name to protect themselves

EDIT just read the comingsoon.net article about tonight's screening...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the kids' Bio teacher was the driver of the truck

Question 7 - Woods?

On his blog in post 112 Josh mentions his friend Clive who's father was a forest ranger. Josh says that Clive's dad went out in the woods one day and didn't come back. Perhaps something is hiding out there.

I didn't think about that. Figured his Dad changed the family name and hid all the craigslist stuff in the closet. The woods sounds like a better answer now. Oh well.

Im not sure what this challenge was supposed to bring. I tried to align my answers with the theme of unity and cooperation- the very reason I posted them.

Im not sure how you score points. My thinking was maybe if we all posted the same answers that would be our goal- because we are all in unity? Im not sure if the answers are supposed to come from the movie.arg or if there are any right/wrong answers- thats why I went with we should all just answer the same.

Ah hell. I sat on the email for a couple of days to see if I would get some tips here but then went ahead and did it before I read this. Oh well... hope it's for the best.

Unrelated to "SUPER 8", but totally in line with Teamwork, and Cooperation! Twin Teamwork, I NEED YOUR HELP!

my friend donna needs your votes so she can try to be a model here in Baltimore. you just need to click the pink "vote" button on the left hand side of the page. no sign up or anything is needed, just click and confirm. it would really help my friend out a lot. TWIN TEAMWORK GO! (even non grapers can help out too! I'd really appreciate it!)
