After what I just watched, 30 pages so quickly is far from a surprise. I'm gonna start digging in on them in a second, but in the meantime let me share 3 thoughts off the bat. Sorry if they are trout.

Hadn't seen one, so...

Quote:
[0:00] Blue screen

[0:01] VHS-style "PLAY" shows up in right-top corner

[0:03] Black screen, tracking static appears at bottom of screen and persists through the rest of the video

[0:05] Date/Time stamp reads "APR 4 1991, 4:41 PM" A young Alex Kralie opens presents while his mother and several children huddle around him. Audio is removed and replaced with tone that changes pitch, persists until 0:27

[0:12-0:13] Video skips frames, visual tear

[0:23] Alex's mother looks off-screen and waves away someone

[0:24] An Operator symbol appears over Alex's face for a split second

[0:27] Black screen

[0:28] Video returns, Date/Time stamp reads "APR 4 1991, 6:03 PM" Alex's mother walks into a room holding a birthday cake. Voices sing Happy Birthday, one voice noticeably lower in pitch than the others.

[0:36] Alex's mother places cake in front of Alex, now in different attire.

[0:43] Camera tilts down to focus on Alex

[0:51] Alex blows out candles, screen goes dark

[0:52-0:53] Silhouette of The Operator appears over top of Alex and severe color distortion occurs. Date/Time stamps change several times to the following:
"JUN 3 1900, 8:23 PM"
"JULY 10 1999, 6:03 AM"
"AUG 30 1891, 1:00 PM"
"MAY 17 1988, 9:00 AM"
"SEP 4 1991, 10:48 AM"
"JAN 1 1992, 12:00 AM"
"FEB 29 1996, 4:44 AM"
"DEC 31 1999, 11:58 PM"
"MAR 3 1981, 9:42 AM"
"NOV 12 1993, 12:34 AM"
"JUN 6 1944, 9:99 AM"
"APR 4 1991, 6:03 PM."
Audio is high-pitched tone that persists until 0:56

[0:54] Audio: Children and deep-toned voice cheer

[0:55] Audio, Alex: "All at once!" (Disputable)

[0:58] Audio, Alex's mother: "All at once. Very nice, Alex."

[1:00] Blue screen, VHS-style "STOP" shows up in right-top corner. Audio cuts out entirely.

[1:03] "STOP" disappears

I added it to the wiki page for this entry. If anyone wants to dispute anything, please feel free to make changes. I tried to include everything I could see, but I might've missed something.

One thing I wanna say- I don't think the deep voice singing Happy Birthday is Slenderman parotting someone else, mainly because of the way he stumbles over the last line of the song. If he was mimicking someone else, then someone else who was singing would have to have fumbled over that part the same way, but no one does. Does that make sense?

And about the dates. A few people in this thread have been connecting some of the dates to deaths, but I don't think that's significant because people die every day. You can connect any day to a death. If any of the dates are significant, it's September 4, 1991, which stays on the screen for several frames and is in the same year, but I'm still doubtful.

I'm starting to become convinced that TTA is Jay in crazy mode. It's always possible that the footage Jay shouldn't have access to was from cameras he set up and didn't mention (he is unreliable as a narrator after all), or footage he did see and/or capture, but forgot about due to Operator-derived temporary insanity based amnesia. It seems like this video was uploaded by Jay, but it has TTA all over it. Also, Jay's accounts are too easy to hack by TTA. That says to me that Jay isn't simply that predictable, he just has access to his sane self's password.

As for where this particular video came from, it was probably in the safe somehow. I suspect that Alex may be responsible for Jay's missing memories and out-of-commission state for a long amount of time, not for any nefarious purpose, but rather to absolutely FORCE Jay to lay low and not get detected. Then he put the tapes in the safe to give Jay access to the past since the point was safety, and amnesia was just a side effect. No, I don't know how he could have possibly managed this feat.

(I also suspect that Fragmented + Jessica's disappearance implies that Jessica was some sort of Operator-created physical symbolic representation of Jay's memories, since her disappearance just happened to coincide with Jay gaining access to his past, but that's another thread.)

Unfortunately, Occam's Razor absolutely eviscerates my theories, oh well.

True that - I have one of those too, and it's technically analog video like VHS, so it might be that too. Was Hi-8 available in '91 though? I'm not getting anything conclusive in my searching.

My grandfather owned a Hi-8 camera when I was born which was '91 so yes they were available

I did some analysis on the "time warp" date list.

A few of these dates stick out:
1992-01-01 12:00 AM is the start of the upcoming new year relative to the video).
12/31/1999 11:58 PM is right before the turn of the millennium.
02/29/1996 4:44 AM is a leap year day.
    06/06/1944 9:99 AM isn't a real time.
    11/12/1993 12:34 AM has a lot of sequential numbers (x1/x2/x3 1234).

Additional notes:
With two exceptions, every month is used once (October is not used, and June is used twice).
    There are quite a few matching pairs on the day/months: 1/1, 3/3, 4/4, 6/6.
None of the dates go past 1999.

There is some interesting thematic clumping when you plug in day of the week:
Quote:

1. 1900-06-03 8:23 PM SUNDAY

Birthday Picnic
Location of Entry 13

Hey guys, new to the forum. I looked through this thread and no one has mentioned yet that the outdoor scene of the Birthday looks very similar to the fence where we first see the Operator in Entry 13. Perhaps there is some connection there too.

Has anybody analyzed the mysterious music yet?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
OOG, it reminds me of the music in Troy's video, "Decked"

I just noticed this isn't the first time the timestamp on a camera has gone crazy (apologize if this has been brought up before, but I searched and didn't find anything in the appropriate thread).

In entry 26, after the operator is seen in the hallway and the camera stops working, the time switches from 4:05pm to 0:99pm and starts counting down, until a "PP" can be seen. There might be something else there.

EDIT: Grr posted the pictures in reverse order. Sorry about that.

Also, I'm sure someone has already mentioned the Slenderman-esq wrapping paper.

Going out on a limb here, but whoever "Deep-Voice" is, maybe that's who gave him that present. Hard to tell what it is, as when Kid Alex is opening it and about to take it out, it cuts to the next scene.

EDIT: To me, it looks like a package.

That entry #26 shot is such a textbook example of blue and orange contrast.

Holy shit, I knew it was familiar. Can someone try reverting the Decked music?

Doing an audio analysis right now, sped up, the little song at the start seems to be someone playing a toy guitar or keyboard (like the one below).

http://www.craxor.com/foftar/Guitar-big.jpg

That's all i got from it, playing around with some other stuff in the video, but there doesn't seem to be much cryptic stuff.

EDIT: I'll upload it sped up, brb.
