Which is scarier?

Slender Man hidden being all sneaky or Slender Man just chilling out in the open daring you to look at him?

If you ask me, Slender Man just staring plain as day is way more scary. Something about him just not giving a damn if you notice him or not makes it seem like he's saying "What are you gonna do? Hit me with a baseball bat?" and mocking human incompetence.

To me, Slenderman being all out in the open is way scarier. If you see it in a sneaky place, or only during the night, then when the morning comes, you think "oh ok I'm safe now". When its in plain sight, and looking at you, its like there is no escape.

It could be day, night, inside, or outside, but it can be anywhere and everywhere to get you, and there's nothing you can do about it. Thats far scarier than a slenderman you only see in certain situations.

If The Slender Man is only seen by me in the bushes, off in the distance, always hidden...that to me implies that he's not a direct threat. Stalkers do that all the time. While a stalker will usually progress to something dangerous, they aren't an immediate threat and you can usually take steps to stop them before the situation gets out of hand.

If The Slender Man is watching me out in the open, in broad daylight, and following me around constantly then the stalker metaphor just hit that evolved state and Slender Man is an immediate threat. Someone that hides implies that they need surprise and sneakiness to do what they want to do. Someone who is out in the open doesn't need those things; they can take you whenever they please.

when he's RIGHT THERE IN THE OPEN, he's out of his element. he's all about being unseen, blending in the background and what not. when he's RIGHT THERE and DOESNT CARE, you know something's about to go down. and it's so frightening.

To me, he's scariest when other people don't notice him when they should, if he's out in the open or hiding... Which is why I keep turning around in my chair, because him being there without me noticing is far far worse.. Of course, it really seems like you don't see Slendy unless you are looking for him, which means I need to be constantly looking, even when asleep, and and..

I loving being scared. Thank you, SM.

But the most terrifying moments for me in the vlogs are when he is RIGHT THERE, right behind them or right out the window and the camera man should see him and they don't and aagahgahgahga.. And I guess it's worse when he's IN THE ROOM and no one notices.

To me slenderman is scariest at night
when he is at your window looking in at you

If I were in that situation I would feel cornered/trapped and asdfghjdfg

for this very reason MH entry 6 TERRIFIED me XD

Scariest so far: Appearing in the corner of a storage room and making a guy bleed for looking at him.

LMAO, DUDE, I so agree. What's horrible to me is him being out plain as day,as everyone says, but no one notices him. 'CAUSE I MEAN, it was a freaky situation before Evan tried to go at him with a bat. I think I got too amused at the idea Evan even tried to, though, lmao.
If he's there, but unnoticed, it would make you more paranoid after watching the tapes. It's so obvious, so it's gotten to the point of "escalated stalking" with the exception that normal people you tend to NOTICE. But no, this fucker is just all open and goes unnoticed.

I'd have to say out in the open what you can see seems to be a lot scarier than what you can't see.
