 		I actually received two instances of this email, but it looks like the sender just hit "send" twice. This one is both suspicious and interesting in that it mentions ARGs.

Got this one too. Note that I've never been in a proper ARG yet (I'm in the villain training one and working on my own), but have followed Marble Hornets for a while.

I've never tried to code break before. Should be interesting, but not sure I have the time at the moment.

 		I can't tell if this is a trailhead or not. Help, plz?
I keep getting messages on my yahoo account from someone called perlabottaigjtd. The message is ONjJQ RmJ GI WcDYBVU. The yahoo account is something I was using for an ARG, so it's not unlikely that it's out there somewhere. I've tried decoding it with ROT-N, Vigenere/Beaufont, Transposition, Base 64, and Substitution (basically the stuff on the app). I'm no good at ciphers, really.

Does someone know about this, or could I at least get a hand figuring it out? I don't want to respond until I have a better idea of what it could be.

...if this is Spam or a virus or something, it's actually working in the sense that it's caught my attention, instead of just getting deleted like all the rest.

I haven't investigated the link I got in this email acct yet because I don't have antivirus software on my computer yet, and I may just be jumping at shadows now that I've started playing in Args, but this email confused the HECK out of me. Can someone tell me what the frig is up with it:

Thesource of the text is "The Desert Girl" http://gutenberg.net.au/ebooks09/0900961.txt the sender probably just grabbed it 'cause it's free all over the internet.
The website in the mail apparently doesn't exist, unless its typoed or something. My guess is just spam, and you were BCC'd onto it. The more creative types of spam use gibberish that almost means something to catch your attention.

 		Was surfing around Reddit today when I came across this: http://i.imgur.com/z91H6.jpg

It's a picture that an Australian Redditor took of a poster that had been put up by the "Australian Interior Authority". Didn't find anything about it on the forums, but both the poster and the associated website ( http://australianinteriorauthority.com.au ) seem very ARGish to me, especially considering the site mentions a bunch of laws that were passed in 2021.

Trailhead, maybe?
